Ascents in Popran having Beta

Great climb and keen to repeat clean. I found the crux to be halfway up because I couldn't reach the jug

After falling while clipping the anchors a few months ago I haven't be able to get this route out of my head! Came down today to see if I could still do the moves but I wasn't expecting much. Forgot some of the exact beta which caused me to take while hanging the draws, I was still pretty happy to get it in 2 sections first go back on. Not really sure what happened on the next burn, shocked myself by getting to the last draw and then just couldn't do the next move. Maybe I was tired, maybe I was pumped, probably some send jitters? 3rd shot didn't start out well, cut feet on the first hard move when I don't usually which forced a slight change in sequence, held it together and somehow found myself clipping the anchors (trying very hard not to fall)!! I am super stoked with this route, feels amazing to get it done given my experience on it!

Nice little multi to finish up the day. You can get to the ground in one abseil on a 70m with rope stretch JUST!

Seconding to clean, still tricky!

Very tired today, last big move shut me down each time! 30secs of rest on the rope and the move feels cruisy so hopefully will get it soon. Good that 2 overlapping sections feels consistent

Absolutely gutted!! Had rope up to clip the anchors and couldn't do it. Was shocked I got past my height point and think my head just fell apart when I was staring at the anchors. Got some mindset things to figure out for sure!

Such an awesome climb!!! All the moves done and some links on top rope. Not enough time today to give it some burns but next time, so psyched!!

Tried this once before years ago, still feels outrageously hard and reachy. I can get to good hold under roof with effort. Seeing the 24 to the left is so straightforward this maybe should be 26? Way harder than 97%MF

Such a sketchy finish. It was raining but the climb was mostly dry.

Tricky start! I managed a right hand side pull with the obvious hole in the wall. High right foot directly under. Stand to left crimp. Move Feet into obvious placement. Right crimp then move to horn.

Lovely moves up on orange rock. Probbly a bit soft, but very pleasant.

Silly little chimney and up, lesser position, but less chossy than Ethel

Fun moves and position, but some serious choss up high.

Delicate and reachy, engaging and worthwhile. Took one fall slipping off a poorly chosen crux sequence.

A really fun and thought provoking route. Felt bloody hard for 21, unlike most routes around here.

Sent on my 5th burn. It was all about the foot work on the last crux. Fantastic climbing ✊🏽

Surprise little roof at the top. Crux for me. Was too tired to pull.

More serpentine than Serpentine - bit of a mission but well worth the effort. A double-dubious ascent by starting up 97% and mantling the top due to sun blindness.

Work out the moves. Bit of help with the move to the jugs before the arete.

Good fun, don’t spook out when you get to the high feet finish - the anchors are just over the top and under a little cave/roof

Hard, good for short people with flexible hips. haha. Gave this a go after 4 working burns on the 25.

Bolting is odd and and makes it more scary than it needs to be. Almost sent this. slipped off going for the pinch twice, I need to bump from the lip jug to the small crimp with the left once I get the right on the sloper hold. if I have enough gas to do this I could grab the pinch each time. Also when first traversing in under the anchors, right heel up, get higher left then bounce up and grab the roof crimp with right, cam both feet in. reach back with left and grab lip jug and then clip. move right hand so I can get a heel on same hold. Go hard at right side pull, bump into sloper with right. bump left up to small half pad crimp (left side). grab side pull pinchy hold. Grab flat edge with left hand. Don't fall as it'll be big, and don't fall clipping.
