Ascents in South Australia by LJ Nielsen

Tried to get a climb in but mysterious rain storms emerged and cut session short. Found this one to be a bout v2, there is a giant rest about 3/4 way along the route

Did the line 'Lone Wolf' same grade - either way, my shoulder and ankle did not appreciate

Working to get the last moves of blackended dialled. Pretty nice roof climbing. Agree with the Judd, stiff for a 4, would be on the harder end for sure.

I’m not sure I saw my hand holds or feet holds for 85% of the climb

The hardest part of this crag is finding the start holds…also the slopers

Endlich gesent…took so many sessions that one of the house owners on clematis drive invited me to his son’s wedding. Good birthday present.

Pretty fun climb that was on my “Sandbag Australia climbs” list, but surprisingly good quality

Stupid amount of attempts but drop knee instead of dyno to first jug made this easier.

Not sure what variant to first jug with heel is, apparently 3?

Relearning the beta to get clean soon. The step up into the undercling block would be such a nice move if the block wasn’t so keen to visit the creek in the valley below. Individual moves aren’t bad, keen for another sesh soon. With or without blocky boi.

Took a while to work out the right beta but a nice line

Very quick send, encouraged by the snake sitting just to the right of the start

Climbed these a while back. Did this with a SDS, loved the high foot hand match.

Couldn’t find the “good” edge

Surprised this wasn’t a bat hang start!

Rock was still pretty damp so I flailed around on this like a port river dolphin

Had a quick suss of the crag, this was a great line. Might come back with more pads.

Some fun moves on this. The start jug and finish are both covered in these weird sand flies that attack you as you approach, so definitely V5

Either this is bolted the whole way now, or I shouldn’t have eaten any car crashrooms
