4 star climbing through 1 star rock. If you can get over the holds through the roof being knuckle deep in mud and rat poop, the climb itself is amazing. 3 or 4 bolts of sustained steep climbing through jugs of mud with great movement. Chalk is probably useless on this route.

Fun route, mellow at the bottom, straight into a hard crux, then continues with sustained climbing on small holds to the top. The route felt like about 5.11a to me, although others seem to have listed it as easier, the FA listed it as 5.11b.

The local Guide book stayes that it's either 10b with an A0 section OR 10d. Either way it's a super fun lower pitch, with great gear (small Nuts) into bolts, and a few supplemental cams. I never did find the 10d moves, but did climb through the slabby A0 section. The upper two pitches could use a scrub, but with a little digging I found good gear. Climbing through the crystal pockets was super fun! Definitely a must do in Vic!

A nice climb. 3 out of the 4 pitches would be considered high quality for the grade if they were located at the back of Lake Louise so to have these stacked on top of each other on a cool spire is pretty special. Steep and juggy with a short section of thin techy stuff to keep it interesting.

Amazing! A day to tell my grandkids about.

P1: Committing off the ground. Good thing there's a belay anchor. Found out we had a knot in the rope too.. oops! P2: Absolutely amazing diverse climbing through different bands of rock. Feels like a geology adventure. P3: Probably the hardest move on the route is the roof. P4: Awesome arete climbing + exposure with an easy finish. Totally missed the sport route anchor at the top and awkwardly belayed from the trad anchor.

The first half of the first pitch is meh but the top of it makes it up. The third pitch has a couple of burly moves. The fourth one is my favorite - climbing up a well-protected corner with nice exposure. I'd skip the last slab and rap down off the top of the fourth pitch.

Up higher the rock was a bit more broken however still reasonably solid by Yam standards with pitch 8 probably being the standout of the route.

So so good! Definitely an alpine outing with a decently snow covered scree approach and bombs coming down once the sun was up.

Approached staying high, exited down to the bottom of the valley then back up to the saddle due to rockfall.

P2 very pumpy 10c, P3 one move of hard 10c but otherwise easy. P4 is absolute money on great edges, felt like easy 10c if you can find all the holds.
