Ascents of Up the Nose of Love

To finish went straight up the groove, placed two bits in the average crack and belayed off a small tree, poxy bush and average cam. Just didn't feel like following more bolts up the arete. Was this the original sortie naturelle?

lovely climbing. Cruxy moves coming over the bulge. Climbed this to access the top of the crag. Watched the sun set up there and was beautiful. This is a sport climb with some carrots and some fixed hangers. Dont know why its listed as trad

NOT a trad route. Carrot bolts (I think around 6 or 7). Anchor is fixed hangers, so top out to finish.

Really good, felt similar to fuzzy at times

Ripper climb in a great position. Loved this. Top made more spicy by not having enough bolt plates hence a 10m runout.

Tough smearing on lichen. Now a sport route with carrots all the way and fixed hangers on top

Seconded Knox. Not especially hard (now that I'm getting some confidence in my slab feet) but really quite long runouts - falling anywhere could be nasty, and decking from first or second bolt a possibility. Was happy to have a rope above me.

Great climbing but run out to buggery. Need to have your slab climbing head in gear

Run out is only psychological. Bolts do their job but a mistake could be costly (v.painful). Tarana - like ACT Granite on sedatives - which isn't that bad...

looks like a good chance of a deckout on lead.
