Still hard, pumpy as!

Really good climbing but as usual for me was overshadowed by not having suitable gear to place, Tom’s memory was poor.

Nice lead felt committing in sections

Had to fight hard to get this clean

No troubles with the moves, but my endurance is terrible rad climbing

Absolute classic, fixed a 10m static to avoid the top faff, rapped on a 70m worked a treat

Bit crumbly but ok for a trip,

I started up this thinking I was on the 14 so when I got to the crux at the top I got to thinking this isnt a 14 so I stepped right, and seemingly finished up the 14, so should I write this up as a new route or a linkup? It was ok I guess maybe I need to do it again and try the top gr17 bit? Or is what I did way cooler and maybe I need to claim a FA

Pleasant enough but wouldn’t do again hardly a “beginners lead” the gear was kinda non existent at the start, definitely not 2 stars compared to other routes at the same area. Lower offs were a nice addition

Brilliant climbing, the runout to the piton provides the perfect amount of spice to question your meaning of life, the climbing isn’t difficult and the grading is good but the gear is probably fairly rude for a 17 wouldn’t recommend it as your first 17 trad, highly recommend doing this however

Some of The rock was nice In sections, there’s nice rock in lots of places , I didn’t really enjoy this. It seemed like an accompaniment route, I kinda get why it was bolted. but wouldn’t do it again

this route had no chalk and added to the fun I enjoyed the crux it was great, well bolted I didn’t see any issues. I think the start is meant to be climbed left of the bolts but the bolts are out right to help make it safe. Worthwhile climbing I’d do it again

Yet another route I’ve tried to sample at the factory, I’m not so sure about the crux shut me down mega only day 1

Wow my fitness impressed me, best get into trying something for real.

21 seems fair for this line, looks like a few holds have evolved and made them self scarce under the roof making it that bit more difficult than gr20

Great crux / start sequence let down by the grubby headwall that has never really found its vogue with traffic due to no real clear line, luckily my belayer bought a brush and started the scrub gonna be a while

Unintentionally found a no hands kneebar at the ledge spoiling my “clean ascent”, nice crux easier once warmed up.

Had to work a bit for the onsight route was clean as a whistle no chalk to mark the way, but really nice climbing good to practise some safe multi pitch skills to the belay ledge,

Quite a cool problem short but worthwhile thoroughly enjoyed it. Great lower off top job, perfect for my belayer to have a quick top rope turn.

Awful spooky dirty warmup. Considered bailing but my belayer wanted a top rope burn so I forged on. wigged out at the end and grabbed the bolt while I put the draw on wasn’t prepared to eat shit.

The top section of this climb is as amazing as it gets including an all but perfectly to spec, mirage pocket 3 finger version, placed anywhere else would be suggested as a drilled pocket, this is brilliant climbing one of the best at the grades at sand river , it also boasts the greatest lower offs too. 😉

Took me a bit to work out the crux again, post crux hold has broken and subsequently now isn’t a jug making the sequence that bit more difficult, happy to allow the grade to be increased to 23

Hardly seemed worth it so short

Pitch 2 was brilliant stars are for this pitch, pitch three seemed silly needs some lower offs added at the top of p2, good to see someone had put one in at the top of p1

Nice movement through the bulge cool sequence, not mind blowing quality but worth doing. Grading wise closer to 21 is my thoughts

Couple of move sequence to get to the arete was cool some ordinary rock, nice architecture?

Good for little people to second. Not too reachy

A bit reachy for the little ones this climb, but ok climbing

Collected my first Tasmania tiger of the wall, can’t say I’m in a hurry to collect any more they’re not nearly as coveted as what I was lead to believe, bold climbing huge runouts, but a worthwhile trip, pitch 4 was the best,

Pretty ordinary, start was ok, middle and end were ordinary, memorable for Toby, first time 2nd a route with dad.

Got all the beta dialled, I can’t really see how this is any easier than the original as you still need to do the hard part of the original with a shorter but more technical start, hope to get it next trip, used up all my paassat today.

Quite hidden up the top, got it second shot, worthwhile I guess

Couldn’t work out the crux first go, tricky sequence my fat fingers wouldn’t fit, so I jumped instead fair to say that isn’t what the first ascentionists did,
