Ascents as sport by Sam Lowe

Believe I've been on this route in the past. Bold start as I forgot the stickclip but some cool moves in there. Took a break at the second to last bolt before moving up onto the "HeadWall" and traverse to anchors. Did an intersting crosover move here on some nice flakes and very nearly lost it. Wouldn't have been a pretty fall so glad I held it, decent runout up top. Will definitely send next attempt.

Thought I was climbing a 14... actually climbed a 16... ended up attempting a 21... as a warmup! Holy cow it was an adventure. I've never seen a more accurate climb name and description than the left hand link-up of this climb. Will return and give it a legit crack when I'm expecting it. Lost isn't a send type so I'll call it a dog.

Came to face my old demon... the devoid! Was too busy so ended up doing this one and bailing to BlackStump so friend could have a crack at some easier and shorter climbs. Nice enough climb. Hardest part when on route seemed to be the top but was probably just a little gassed from the misadventure. Will resend next time. Jarad cleaned this one on second... my boy's getting better!

V Nice routes on very cool rock. Came out for a Night Climb. Easy enough once we located the start in the dark. Added an extra element which I'd never really experienced before (good climb to choose for a first dark send) TheCrag is lacking toppos of these climbs frustratingly but we got there.

Have tried these climbs before in the day (Helped me find the way) so resend was familiar. Enjoyed the experience, will do again. Jarad was gassed by the time he topped out. First climb of this size for him.

Chillaxed Birthday Weekend out with fam & friends. Came to this quieter but decent crag to avoid crowds of QUT Cliff Hangers and general populations. Ben lead and I resent to clean. Could probably use another bolt for the timid leader. Decent short one.

I lead for everyone to have a a crack at. Bit of a back bender to clip the overhanging anchors from ledge.

Resend attempt of personal project. Ticked last trip but fumbled around after the lip and gassed out. Bit disappointed in myself really but as we say in the business "It's not going anywhere!".

Haven't done this one before to my memory cause these three are so damn popular. Surprised it was free for friends to try given the busy Saturday evening it was. Decent route.

Setup for a chill sesh with friends post COVID. BBQ and drinks by the river is the way to spend your Saturday night . This is still a nice climb despite its lack in difficulty.

Good training route now. Still cleaning up my sequence through the 3rd. Took a nice whipper here trying to clip off the pocket/ledge.

Gotta do the harder routes here when your a KP regular. Bit wandery but nice climb.

Short and Juggy. Perfect for a warm up. Grade 16 is probably a little steep.

Got tunnel vision on this one and took a fall at the second. Didn't notice the side pulls in the drill hole. Will clean this next ascent

Finally got this bugger, don't know why I found it so hard. Following the misleading chalk right onto kinda slopy holds is unplesant (especially due to previous broken wrist) and left cheating up B is not the way. Two crimps up slab to ledge and sneaky side pull to get ya through. Much nicer and direct. Definetly a 15/16.

Easy to last bolt in scoop. Hard to tell whats 'in' and whats classed as too far right and therefore part of RAM making it a 19 or somethin. Had a few cracks at it and definitely did the proper mantel, just not sure if I "cheated" to get through the scoop and onto the lip. Would appreciate some beta if anyone knows how to send this route legitimately.

Took a couple of falls before giving up and sending the RH route instead. Inspected on TR and got a feel for how to clip the 4th. Didn't go past that on TR though. Probably not worth the effort to send it. Very sandy.

Thought I'd try this while teaching TR setups as it seemed like a sketchy lead of carrots. Not the greatest.

Resend. Good climb with its drill hole sling for a first, it's kinda redundant but makes me feel better .

Anther classic. Good warmup and TopRope challenge for Ric.

Clean Send... Heck Yeah! I don't recommend clipping the 3rd between your feet off the big sidepull in the crux but its doable. Lived to tell the tail. Truely epic.

Nice climbing to the 4th. Use the undercling e and pull around onto the front of the bulge. Sneaky pocket/sidepull to clip and up onto ledge. Probably an 18.

Resend for me from eons ago. Warmup for Mat. The unnecessary awkward positions this man can get into will never cease to amaze me.

Yeww! Not a bad climb after I chased the Brood Mother out of the undercling at the start. Don't think this one gets much traction, quite dirty and covered in cobwebs I had to clear near the second (Stickclips are still useful even when the first bolt is out of reach). Probably due to the crazy first bolt, needed my big boy pants for that one. Epic climbing through the overhang at the top. Good climb.

Nice route. Didn't want to push through the crux and risk injury on the day. Will try again sometime.

Tricky one move wonder like Pink Berets. Love me a good undercling. Another climber told me about this climb so I'll call it a flash for honesty but it was really an onsight.

My first big project at KP back in the day. Love this route to pieces, up the mad flake & trust the undecling to pull through. Good to resend.

Nice pump for a warm up. This is the climb I did not BO as first confused.
