Fun mantles

Lead pitches 2, 4, 6 & 8 clean. Struggled on pitch 7 to get started & pumped out near the top of pitch 7 on second. Definitely think the odd pitches felt more difficult.

Felt hard for 11. Not quite sure how Lucifer at Thompson’s is 11 and so is this??? Flapped about on some 17, 19 and couldn’t get off the floor on a 21. This whole wall felt sand bagged!

Still struggle with the last move. Need to stay calm, stand up on the high right foot to reach right slopey crimp & clip of the good left crimp. Will try and lead it next time.

Fell off right before clipping the anchors. Higher right foot next time to reach the right hand layback & left hand clipping jug. First proper fall while climbing in a very long time. Proud I got back on to finish (even if it wasn’t clean).

All very feasible except for one move, big reach to small crimp or bumping off some average intermediates. Need to work on core & crimp strength. Try again next time.

Steep burly start recommend sticking clipping the first bolt Cool reach left to surprise jug Was too cooked to lead it will try next time
