Begehungen in Thunderbird Wall

Some really cool moves on thin pinches and underclings, but on either side of this was some very sandy rubbish.

Rapped down and chalked some holds as it was quite damp. Placed some draws and a few bits of gear. Amazing route and quite exciting in the dampness, keen to check out the neighbours.

First climb of the day lead and bail not confident at all some position my knee does not appreciate...

overall great climbing, however was some very sandy and suspect looking rock through the middle that didn't inspire confidence.

Really nice climb. The early traverse was a little bit further than I was expecting but not hard. Pro was good the whole way.

I thought this would make a good warmup for day after discovering that the easier cracks were seeping. Man, did I get embarrassingly spanked! The gear is not great and it seemed way harder than 20. Maybe I should've read the beta here first!

Don't agree with the published guide, hear looks sparse. Harder than TAG.

EOD in the blasting sun! Sweating like crazy but great climb with lots of exposure! Some big moves along the way too.

Awesome. Plenty of great holds to rest on. Found a thread to lessen the excitement at the top.

Excellent climbing. Fair bit harder than TAB, especially in the dark.

Another repeat. Reachy moves to pockets.

At a certain point on this climb, about halfway, I started traversing along these small holds instead of reaching up a little higher to a large jug which I didn't notice. Also broke off a hold.

Stemming and a few lay-backs along the way. Fun climbing with many interesting moves!

Could manage all the moves but couldn't link some of the harder crux moves. Great climb to project. More warm-ups before this next time.

Attempted another 25m of climbing (was about 22) which I dogged. It is a new 40m 26 with the first 20m being 22. Too juiced but another great climb to repeat next time.

Listed as a 19 in the guide but was easier than the grade given. The grade on thecrag.com is more reflective of the true grade. Some amazing moves as well as some thought provoking ones. Would love to do it again!

Nice crack with some mandatory jaming up near the top.
