Begehungen in Lac Sam

Great climb, second pitch felt pretty easy, or it was the pressure from it starting to rain while climbing it.

Consistent start up to roof, tricky positioning until you find a comfortable spot and power over edge for easy slab finish

The crux is tricky and fun.

Run out at the top especially with pro popping beneath me. Sketchy top out too for this reason.

Fun route, not very difficult. The bolt placement is a little bizarre, the more difficult parts are almost over protected and the other sections are a bit run out.

So much fun! There was a bit of water running down one section but it wasn't too bad.

I thought this was going to be a bit of a one move wonder through the roof. I was pleasantly surprised when there was a good slab section before the getting to the anchor.

Really enjoyed the upper bit.

My warmup for the day. Got a bit off route in the middle - headed left when I should have headed right - and stalled for a bit. Nice lead, keep the bolts to your left most of the time.

Even dirty, and digging stuff out of the crack to place gear and hand jams, this was a good climb. I think, with cleaning, it may be a classic. The upper crack section is the first section of good crack climbing I've found at Lac Sam.

It's very easy to end up on Stolen land when trying to climb "shine on".

Might bring a wire brush next time to clean a few things but this was really fun.
