This was a big nope for me in the sun today. Wow, I am weak on pockets.

Right hand slipped on the very last move going for the arete. Very close on this one!

Cruisy 17 with sore skin

Saw a grade 19 in the guidebook and thought it might be a fun final climb at waipari and god was i wrong, super fun moves and very commiting but i am still excited at the thought of getting it clean

I messed up the start I guess. Had a hard time getting onto the arete. Great route definitely will climb again.

Too traumatised after seeing my friend take a crazy upside-down whip on it beforehand. :p

I'm not sure what is counted as using the crack. I did a bunch of laybacks but no jamming. Got the send on the 2nd attempt as I slipped and whipped after stepping on lycan at 3rd.

A fun climb with a tricky crux if you don't know where the holds are. Once you do, it's very enjoyable. I reckon a 2 star for sure.

Found a sequence up the face/arete and avoided getting suckered into the left crack.

One of the best at Waipari

Punted on acquisition of nerve damage in finger from a pointy bit in the wrong place. I swear this climb hates me.
