First time on this route. Really enjoying it. Will need to focus on the foot beta. And remember the long draws. Great to have solid beta from Ben.

Great beta refinement today. The buldge is still very hard for me but getting it dialed in. One hung the route from below the crux on my second shot. Pretty much feels like 23-V7-25.

Happy with progress today. Managed to get it to one sit, with highpoint. Adjusted my crux beta (thanks Paul) which makes it feel a lot more possible. Psyched! Frustratingly the primo connies came in the afternoon.

I have had a dabble on this a few times before, finally put some proper time into it today. 3 laps and after fall off the move 20+ times I linked the bulge 2nd lap and got to experience the rest of the route. Got though again on my 3rd lap. Pretty happy with the progress, add more time.

Warmed up on the first half of this route many times and decided to actually put some time into trying the whole route today. High point is 3 moves into midway crux which i was pretty happy with considering my woeful endurance. Need to refine my beta for the throw out left, but feel once I figure that out, the route (hopefully) may go down. In saying that, i know a lot of strong climbers who had this as a nemesis route for a prolonged period. Psyche is high!

4 working laps. On the final attempt I had a breakthrough linking up onto the crux flake. Fell off the move out left twice, then a good link to the end. This has now gone from just "playing around" to "prospective project"... radical.

Ah the humbling DF experience... All moves done bolt to bolt, new high point on first proper burn, then the dreaded reverse progress lap. Ultimate goal is Super-Goo, because it would be crazy to clip the anchors of Magoo and not keep trucking. That last slam dunk move of Super Goo is incredible!

went back on this (twice) after at least 6 months since the last visit. It felt just as intense if not more... I find this route very (micro-)beta dependent, which doesn't suit long breaks away from it. I still need to refine a couple of sequences and improve my body position at the rest before I can consider starting to redpoint. Still keen to invest the time though

Absolutely ridiculous conditions. Draws blowing vertically up the wall, essentially getting pulled off the wall with each gust. But the old "last go to retrieve the draws" does it again. What a horrible route! =)

2 exploratory laps. Lots of dogging and falling to piece it together. Eventually worked out all the sequences (though my busted elbow is making the press-out move that begins the crux sequence agony at the moment), but linking the long and intense main crux is going to be a big ask. Even the start is quite challenging, and the pumpy, powerful ending is far from trivial. I've got a lot of work to do (especially on steep-endurance) to tick this climb, but it's fun to have an objective.

26 Super Weak Sport 20m, 8 Classic

Repeat attempt (ticked previously), but not clean today. I thought I'd try and go for a "re-send" as a warmup, but I had no chance (and the frozen fingers in the cold wind didn't help). Still got some rad linkage though, for a warmup. This route is actually fun when you don't care about trying to tick it anymore.

Sorted! 2nd shot today. 9th red point lap total (plus a lap every year or so for about 4 years, and 4 laps to get the draws on over the past month). Alpine conditions again today, with the wind blasting the face... but with no horizontal rain this time, these are MY kind of alpine conditions. Almost sent placing the draws as a warmup, with just a single fall right at the bottom! 2nd lap felt solid and in control the whole way. Thanks to all my mentors for the pep talks lately.

3 Red Point shots, and an end-of-day draw retrieval mission in the sun. Some epic linkage, it really could've gone down on any of those Red Point shots, but 2 of them I made bumbly mistakes on easy terrain (one of them I fell off the move to the big horizontal, pulled straight back on and cruised to the top), and the other Red Point shot I hadn't rested enough after my last shot and had nothing. An intense number, and quite demanding, but weirdly, despite years of detesting this route, I'm ACTUALLY starting to enjoy it. Back next weekend!

the draws were up so gave it another go...still can't do the crux moves. Either I need to grow longer arms, or get stronger or improve my technic. I stand by my original assessment, hard for the grade. Now that I tried it twice, it falls under the project category. Not sure how I feel about that!!
