Ascents in Mr Wall

Super hard for the grade I think... attempted it after trying HL2000 a few times so maybe that had something to do with it but I didn't feel that tired... I tried this a year and a bit ago just once and didn't find any moves that hard.. this time, different story.

Think I might just leave it until I get Hairline done....

Amazing. I've been on it once before but only until I fell then lowered off due to a huge queue.. This time I could work the moves, go to the top, then have a few shots... highpoint was getting the first sidepull in the crux... kind of had the second... Endurance needed... Rad rad rad

Project shopping, this route fits nicely. Who would of thought you could have great DF weather this late in the year? Two working shots figuring to beta and sequences, I have found the set up for the first crux pretty hard but the move isn't that bad. Good consistent climb thought the meat of the route and a big move under the first step roof. Found a much easier big span way of doing the top crux that avoids all the crap footers. Lots more route time needed. Awesome.

Starting to get into it, still couldn't stick the middle, or get to the anchor.

Finally getting somewhere, can hold the middle with body tension+. Not using Tom's beta for the top also works much better, screw the crossover and use the crimps.

Warm up #2, enjoyed the start, but not the rest, didn't get to the anchor.

End of day lap. Really wasn't feeling this climb, but other than the final boulder sequence after the dyno it all went pretty well. Fun.

Yup its hard, and out of season. All the moves on the first recon burn, 2-hang in the second and 10+ hangs on the 3rd burn.

Yeah! First of the grade. Bring shoulders muscles.

One recon lap (and some playing around at the start trying to find a sequence to the technical crux that works for me). Feels hard, but doable, though I still have my doubt about the crux. Aside from all the glue holding this route together, the climbing itself is pretty awesome, and unrelenting. The glue behind the top of the flake is cracked and the top section of the flake now moves quite a bit.

3 shots. Can stick the dyno and the moves after it (with a great deal of grunty effort) but haven't linked past the cut-loose match. Feels like a bit of a novelty, but is a hell of a lot of fun (even if you don't like this sort of climbing). Feels like it should go easily, but somehow never does.

So psyched this went down today Linked from below the crux to the anchors putting the draws first shot, muffed the second shot and got BIG air time. Pulled it all together third shot of the day for the send, 9 shots all up. Awesome route!!

Fun, powerful climbing. Messed the final section after the crux (only 7m so go figure...). Climbs more like a boulder problem than a route (v5?).

A couple more laps on this beast. The finger boarding is paying off as I found the thin finger crux easier today. Got it down to one sit on my second shot of the day. Psych to send this!!

FFA. Super happy with this new route on main wall diamond falls. Sent second shot after winging it through the super weak crux traverse. I was a lot more pumped at the top big moves then I expected and ended in an all out dyno to one of the best victory jugs on the wall. Stella

It's routes like these that inspire me to red point!! Couldn't get past the crux on the first two or three shots got some trick beta and started to get linkage. On the last burn had one fall and one sit at the crux then fell at the very top pumped senseless. New project

1st go. Onsighted all the new climbing after it breaks off some kind of bliss. A fun excursion on really good rock

Tried it once about a year ago. 1st go today putting draws on. Got the pump from the deepest depths of hell!! Acid for blood while howling at the moon.
