Ascents in Central Gully as Onsight

Thought it was a little tricky for the grade, but a very enjoyable climb

Real pleasant route, but a little bit spooky in the dark...

Belay ledge at the top is choice.

The first two pitches are great, but the final two pitches don't really have much good climbing in my opinion! Not sure if I finished it as intended, I traversed quite a distance right after the left-facing corner, to finish up some lichen-covered jugs, not liking the look of the bulge with protection down below my feet.

Pulled on, blacked out and found myself at the top, almost freaked out downclimbed, placed more gear and sent. All round - would recommend

lost a lot of confidence after a foot slip on a polished hold so I down climbed to a rest twice, then powered through to the top with a good bit of grit. Was lacking beans at the top so lined up for what felt like a massive dyno but on reflection was a small hop. Stoked to get the onsight, but even more surprised

Good fun, definitely would have been smoother if I didn’t power layback the flake, though running out out definitely pushed me to the top

First grade 18 whitepoint... Lovely

Whitepoint defined and achieved... Hardest onsight solo to date. 2nd of the day. Short and sweet.
