Ascents in Southern Tablelands as various tick types

Had a tickle, but pretty committing with that bad landing

Had a quick go, but had to bail as the wasps started coming out of their hive in great numbers

A dogalicious start to the day. Was very close to the OS on pitch one, but had to go in hard multiple times on the second pitch to rest. Felt pretty hard up high

Crux was hard to read, I threw up into what i thought was a jug which ended up being a terrible sloper and I bailed. Rest of the climb is quite fun, adventurous climbing with some neat exposure over the dihedral up top.

My first retreat, struggled with the moves at the second bolt, finally found a way up into the undercling and was severely disappointed... could only get half a pad in. Retreated in defeat

Got two clips onto the roof. Great climb to work on

Fell on the last move...

The crossover is HARD

Red point attempts next sesh. Really had to dial the beta to find a way through this with my weak fingers.

Beta now sorted (I think) but gee it takes it out of you. Hope to send it next time

“One of the best pitches in bungonia” is a bold claim when competing with the likes of Siblings of the Sun. This wasn’t even in the same weight class.

Gets a star for the awesome and unique belay holes, but I didn’t find the climbing all that interesting. Lots of easy stuff interrupted by a (hard for the grade) crux.

Dogged through the crux - turns out my finger isn’t better yet. A nice sustained sequence, a bit hard to read.

Worth doing - not certain it was worth the walk out though

Starting hold snapped as soon as I put tension on. Did not try again.

Good crimps, but horrible feet. Could not get up the face.

what was meant to be a first ascent multipitch trip with a line planned out nose dived south when i forgot to pack my belay devices and rappel gear. after realizing my horrible mistake I decided to jump on this because usually "powerful climbing" means dynamic. and I'm lanky as hell so i thought why not. this climb might just be the hardest and biggest dyno I've ever seen outdoors. its a massive leap with a bolt at chest height, if one move wonder was embodied this is it because after the leap its practically jug hauling to the top.

Very technical and beta specific to each individual. I think I worked it out but not confident some sections. Pulling the roof undercling crux. All freed but need to come back fresh...

Got ever so slightly higher on the corner. Top jugs were fine (pre clipped)

Hard for a 20 at the end of the day! Next time

pumpy dynamic fun but the bolts got really burnt in the fires so it could do with a rebolt

had a crack;) im no offwidther but it defo feels doable

Did well on the slabby slab slab but too gassed to attempt the rest. Pulled on a few draws to clean

Couldn't find holds or feet to move past the blank looking top part. Not sure how reach-dependent this climb is.
