Ascents in Wharepapa South by Pak

Not sure is it the route I climbed or the next one is this 21. Feel more like a 22. Sharp pocket with no foot hold before the first bolt. After the first bolt is easier, still good hand hold but bad foot hold.

The first 2 bolt is a bit scary like a 21. After that is like a 19.

Pumpy overhand climb on good hold.

A very scary climb. It is a sure ground fall after the 2nd bolt and the place to clip the 3rd bolt is not that good. Really bad bolting for that. Don't recommand it if u cannot climb 21 easily. The crux for me is after the last bolt, cannot find any good hold to follow the arete so moved a bit left.

More like a 23. Nearly on sight it, just too tired before the last bolt as it is the last climb of the day.

It was wet after the second bolt. Cannot find a way to go up the ledge.

Small deep pocket and overhang. Only 1 hard move at the last bolt. Have not work out a good beta to clip the last bolt and go up yet.

More like a soft 23 or hard 22. Big hold to pass the cave, then climb on some small hold to bridge urself up. Getting easier on top.

Classic Froggat pocket pull up route. Getter harder and harder, crux after last bolt. It is a good climb, but the approach and belay place is really bad.

Wet and dirty

Powerful move. Good hand hold bad foot hold. Need more time to work out a better beta for the last bit

Not much foot hold at the start, have to use some side pull at right and one of the big side pull is wet and full of mud which make it impossible to use. Hard move to climb to 2nd bolt. After that is much easier
