Ascents in North America having Trad CPR

Despite forgetting to bring much necessary gear, I was cruising until the end of the top diherdral when -with my feet 2 bodylengths above a micro cam- I realised the top slopers were wet from the ice-melt, and I became a religious convert . The crack part is easy and pleasant, the face moves not too bad... the dihedral will haunt my nightmares (but is actually pretty good).

Beautiful crack - my (lack of) crack climbing skills make this feel like 5.13 though!

What a cool last pitch! Good bolts and funny but short climbing at the harder pitches, a lot of sand/mud on the rest.

Amazing but super hard!! This one would need some time and effort

awesome mixed-route...offwidth-trad-climbing for the first 15 meters, then 10 meters of technical slab-climbing (with bolts)

Another wicked line, last 5meters makes it classic for sure.

Very good route. Starts with a hard move from the ground then hand jams up to a left facing crack that can be laybacked. At the end of the crack dynamic move to good hold and mantling up a ledge.

Hand crack turning into off-fingers which you can lieback on a small protruding part of the crack. The crack curves right, making for better holds, then there is a final jump or far reach to the right edge of the block.

One of the most amazing days I’ve had on the Chief despite taking possibly one of the most epic ass-kickings ever seen on that wall. Hopefully get back to finish as it’s in the top ten category on my lifetime bucket list. I don’t think climbing gets better than this route.

Was not prepared for this as the warm up climb. Tried very hard at the bottom

Took a few tries to piece together a sequence for the top. This is the closest thing I could compare to a blueys 25. Really sporty moves on a zigzagging and slightly offset crack leads traverses into tight hands and then balance and pump management right underneath the ringlock crux. Here I found a face sequence that seemed quite obscure and hard to remember at first but ended working well. Dart out left on the final crimp horizontal and huck for glory with some sweet creek smears. This doesn't feel much like a pure crack line, but as a route that takes gear only I think it's pretty special.

Amazing flake systems out here. Granites definitely grippier up here without the glacier polish but the brain is still in yosemite mode and resulted in me desperately ring locking a 5.8 fairly-obviously-layback crack. Got rained out in the arvo and found a pub to knock some pool balls around with the euros. Would really like to do more climbing here and stoked on how the pacific northwest climbing is feeling coming into squamish season!

Very hard, could not get anywhere even with cheating. Fall sent me into tree and then into rock. 😣

Followed pitch 1-3. First pitch is very hard for 5.11b. 2nd is cool, but weird pro. The offwidth is short but hard without the proper technique.
