Forgot how to do the crux move again, got shut down at the third draw. One day I'm gonna tick this piece of crap, but today was not the day.

First grade 20 flash since 2016, hell yeah! My height/reach helped but it's still hard work. Big moves to solid jugs right where you need 'em, and one of my most satisfying ticks in the blueys.

Slightly chossy and fragile rock but wonderfully varied climbing and great exposure. Third pitch is a bit of a runout on just carrots, especially since I missed the last one before the topout - FYI it's just above the last ledge, to the left of the empty bolthole from a previous rebolting. I saw the empty hole, assumed the carrot had fallen out, and just gunned it for the top. Whoops 😅

First time on rock for 2020. It's good to be back!

Tricky start if you're tall but goes with a high right heel and mantle past the second clip, then super fun burly hauling to the top.

Underrated, possibly the best 17 in the Blue Mountains! A pleasure to climb no matter your level.

Amazing multi with great exposure and bold, interesting moves through the crux pitches. Anchors are crowded but manageable if you have three in your group. Linked up the last two pitches to race the shade. The walk out is heinous though, be sure to take enough water and try to finish before the sun hits.

Ran into some friends on our way out and decided to jump on their rope, so glad I did! Absolute classic with flowing sequences and a solid crux right at the top. Keen to come back and tick this on lead.

Second run up to rig a toprope.

First Kalymnos onsight! Beautiful slab with fun moves and a bit of a steep reach for the anchors.

Super fun route with a bit of everything, an absolute pleasure to climb.

Sharp and intimidating for the grade, satisfying but wear a helmet and watch you head on the second half!

Second multi, first time leading! Improvised a bit on Pitch 5 with our own direct version of the variant finish after we lost the bolt line, but still had a blast

First ever multipitch, and what a classic! Fun, engaging terrain with a satisfying crux on each pitch, and stunning views the whole way up. Keen to go back and lead it all

Slings have been replaced, still polished and a bit awkward for the grade.
