one sit - reachy and stiffer than I expect for BoCan. possibly would have been easier had I not been tripping on ski pants or been able to see my feet (apparently I didn't have thermals in the car) but they were justified when the wind and rain turned into actual snow

Fell on the last hold at the end of the crux. As close as you can get to an onsight.

Putting the gear up on this monster face climb. Really nice position on a huge face towering over the canyon. Technical thin climbing for 3-4 bolts in the middle. Eases off on some fun moves for the last 5 bolts.

Putting the gear on for Alex. Maybe a little harder than I gave it credit for yesterday as I fell on both cruxes trying to warm up on it today.

Third go. Got to the last holds before the jug at the anchor. The left sloper had gotten wet from the seepage again (the climb was wet at the top today making it a bit tricky to finish). Got stuck with a high right foot and wet slopers for holds and couldn't reverse back in order to change course. Fell at the last hold again. Then got rained off. Oh well.

Second go. Fell on the very last move to the jug for clipping the anchors. What a fool.

The onsight train stopped on this one. Fell after the third clip because I misread the route, going for the pocket with left instead of right hand.

Pretty good but the solo to get to the first bolt felt unnecessary, and it messed with my head for the onsight

Could definitely go on a good day with another few burns

Botched the OS because I went for the wrong hold. Otherwise could have happened. It will go next time. Long and pumpy, with great moves throughout. Feels like more than 24m?

Thought I would onsight, but it's a tough 11d! Did back-to-back attempts and was too tired on the second try. I kept forgetting my sequence and not finding the right holds. Not over after the crux, as you have to trust these non-holds to top out! Crimpy, tensiony and reachy.

Super hard 12a. Probably not 12a V4ish boulder problem off the bat, followed by pumpy steep climbing, finishing with another V4ish boulder problem. No real rests I could find. Had little time to rest, so will have to come back for this unique, fun climb!

Excellent varied climbing! Has it all- steep terrain on jugs, balancy vertical, delicate slab, and of course, the crimper boulder problem. Had back-to-back attempts, and didn't feel good enough on the second. Then I came back on 7/8/2023 with Edel, and I messed up my sequence on the first try, then got hailed and rained on the second try (even though the holds were wet, I made it to the first move of the top crux before slipping from water!). Super fun climb, will come back for it!

Cool route basically consisting of just slabs and underclings, with a series of quite difficult mantles. Had to hang once at the last bolt. If you follow the bolt line there, it's very hard in my opinion.

Had a session this past Monday as well as past Friday on this beast. I did all the moves within one session! Very psyched to be projecting this. Climbs up Tell Tale Heart, including its crux, to break out roght to a V6/7 sloper boulder problem. The slopers are baaaaad. Definitely a low percentage boulder problem for me, so I need to build endurance to get there really fresh!

Felt very tough! Good footwork and some crimp strength required.
