Ascents in Australia by Peter Melouney having trad-cpr or ascent-date

Light rain overnight and foggy morning. P1-3 were wet and very slippery and aided on second through most of it. P4 mostly dry and good climbing. P5/6 felt hard for me.

Very fun climbing with good gear.

Aided up to setup top rope anchor. Easy jams to half way then gets hard with thin hands and finger locks on steep sharp rock. Final climb of the trip so super stoked to get it clean on top rope.

Abseiled in for P1. Great slabbing line. Eases after the first few meters.

A pretty great climb with good jams. There was a bit of vegetation but it still climbed nicely. Felt more 19-20ish

Stoked to get this. Some strenuous moves and okay-ish stances to place gear. Finger jammed first section and laybacked second. Extra #1s and .75s are useful.

Top rope feeling the moves. Hard, but keen to try again having watched youtube vid now.

First time at bungonia. This place is epic! We had great conditions and a fantastic day of climbing. Finished up the other end of evolution.

Unbelievable how good this is. One of the best climbs I've done. Stoked to have got it.

Very cool and unique rock formations. Easy access, shade in the arvo and fun climbing.

A muddy start leads to a fun corner crack for a few metres and then into jugs through the roof and over lip. Pretty cool route. Am a bit suspect of rock quality...had a hold break moving over the lip.

Nice finger crack, fun climbing.

Had to come back to give this another shot. Easy access to a ripper of a climb. Second favourite of the trip.

Good climb. P1 - bouldery move off the ground, easy traverse and up to ledge. P2 - slightly wide section to start then great laybacking and few jams to top. Clean rock and really enjoyable pitch.

Beautifully clean crack. First lap did a few strenuous laybacks and only just stayed on. Second lap switched to finger locks and thin hand jams with good feet outside the crack and felt more solid.

A tad heady on P2 but nice climbing and enough good gear. P3 variant was great exposure on jugs...definitely worth it!

Fantastic climb

Crag classic for sure! Amazing line with fantastic climbing and jamming that goes from hands to fingers. P2 didn't look too appealing.

Wow so good. Juggy terrain till offwidth and then it starts. Fun!

P1&P2 - some nice climbing with a few dirty/vegetated sections. P2 mantel onto ledge was a bit of a pain but finger crack felt fine. Lot of loose rocks on an angle at the belay so be careful.

P3 - money pitch for sure, awesome climbing. Found a nice #3 deep placement on the overhang section so didn't end up placing the #4 (but would still recommend to bring it).

Good gear placements on all pitches. We took single #4, doubles .4/.5/3 and triples .75-2 + set of nuts/offsets. This was plenty.

Climbs nicely on gear. Great jams at the start.

Wasn't quite sure where the start was but picked the cleaniest crack+slab line that'd get us up to a DBB just right of a gorgeous slabby arete which I assumed was P2. Great slabbing on P2, all FHs but bring 2 plates for top.

Epic day out. Thanks John for doing the nudie swim. P1 really enjoyed this pitch, a few technical moves and good gear. P2 beautiful jams and stemming. P3 fun squeeze through chimney to easy climbing on other side. P4 cruisy last pitch. Definitely have to be super mindful of choss. Fantastic final climb of the trip.

Great climb! Had to fight for the send in the top half

Tough start and felt a bit insecure placing first piece. Crack was loaded with leaves/sticks/mud and had to clean on the go. Some nice jams and an offwidth move or two. Had to fight for the send but good climb.

Top section was good fun!

Favourite 18 at frog so far. Really nice climbing.
