Okay this was actually good, it’s not all negative.

Chossy choss and pretty tough at 23, this crag is bizarre.

Seems to be the theme for this crag, bolt choss and give it stars?

Such a fun time, had a blast with Moonman 1, about a 4 hour push from base camp to the summit. Did a couple aid moves on P2 then freed to the top, the top crux above a very rusted carrot was a good reintroduction to the wall. P3 is a hilarious sandbag and P4 was so mega and 3D and exposed.

A proper taipan-esque route with hard moves, grooves and plenty of air

Pikers gonna pike (traversed around the nails crux). Apart from the cruxy crux this is all time

Some radical sequences, taipan does the blueys climbing better than the blueys.

But fingery but not that hard

Thought this was fucked hard, likely just didn’t climb it the easiest way. The harder moves made for a sick climb however

Great climbing, not nearly as sustained as I expected

Definitely the better of the two

A little bittersweet. I’ve gotten a lot better in the past 6 months. The crux still terrifies me, but very happy to get this out of the way finally.

Lovely Little line, be careful with the top because some of the holds are loose.

Nuclear Error (19) is harder.

Maybe it’s because I’m not warm and didn’t use my feet well but I seriously had to fight for that.

got past the 4th bolt first try and then dropped it (F**k!) then attempted it another 3 times and couldnt figure out how i managed to get past the 3rd bolt. Ill come back to it.

Holy FUCK

I’m gonna call it a classic cause it’s my style and I like it. Jugs and big moves - perfect. First go was surprisingly close. Second go my finger started gushing with blood after a throw. Third go I didn’t use feet and got nowhere. Fourth go I moved quick and had good footwork, as always feels easier when you climb properly.

Warming up when climbing in winter seriously sucks. The hard stuff for this one is at the start when your fingies are coldest : (

Stuck the first move more times than I can remember but couldn't engage my fingers

If I was to name this route it would be “National Average” as all the fun is over in a couple of minutes! Nevertheless, it’s a great route. Too bad there’s no direct start.

A fun one move wonder. Heaps soft if you have a good span, could be 21/2 without it. Good fun!

First try today! with weird short person high heel beta

Sweet route albeit quite chossy. Start got a bit spooky but managed to fight through. Quite a variety of moves, very fun climbing.

Eugh. Humbling. Climb isn’t that bad I’m just a silly sausage. Jugs into a one move wonder. Got too excited because of how close the onsight was so didn’t take consecutive attempts seriously. Then when I switched on my fingers were gone. Needed to drill the crux move after the first burn and take proper rests between attempts. Lesson learnt. Sick route though.

Actually pretty good aside from the choss flying down. Might get 2 stars just because of the start

Unsure if I’m doing a bunch of soft climbs or if I’m actually improving. Interesting climb regardless, fun little traverse.

Headed up this thing with big Sam, unfortunately 1.5 hours on the first belay and 2 hours on the second belay had me freezing cold and 0 psych to try the upper pitch. Hopefully next time
