Tough locks near the top! But an absolutely stunning climb. Definitely a top 100!

Boulder start (unprotected!) Then fun climbing

Cool route, but the crux is hard. It starts easy, then there is a section of a steep hand crack, combined with an arret. Then easy but run out until the end.

Nice jugs to start. The second half still has pretty good handholds. Be cautious and patient about footholds.

Nice warm-up.

Wide weirdness in the first half then chose to do the (unfortunately unlisted) 10d extension which adds a gnarly layback crux at the top.

Dicey start into easy finish

Nice climb. Relatively easy start, gets slippery mid way up. Had to rest and plan on my first ascent. Second time was clean. Great climb.

11a in the guidebook and Mountain Project. For someone like who is working my wap up to this grade, it definitely felt harder than a 10d. But for people who warm up on this route before getting on Spiderfly (12a), I can see why it might feel like a 10d.

Crimpy and technical on a steep slab.

An ill-fated onsight before I had learned the ways of Squam-slabbin. Made it to where the crack seams-out, quested off towards the bolt, grabbed an armload of rope and tried to clip then took a 45m (in my mind) whip onto what I honestly thought was a deadset shithouse bit of gear. Took some effort to dig that baby peenut back out...

Stupidly fun little fingerlock boulder. Full value. Used rope tarp and backpacks as boulderpad.

Desperate crimping. Reminding me of home...

This problem is a fuckin' ripper. So much fun. Took a lot of time to sort out the first two moves, dropped it high once setting up for the jump to the lip then reminded myself that punting is for punters and did the boulder next shot.

Best part about Squamish bouldering? Inspiring lines that actually top out.

Nearly dropped the top of this one but then remembered that falling is for losers so I decided to stay on

I got on this after it was sold to me as a pumpy traverse... That might be true if you can do any of the moves lol. This thing is hard as fuck.

Learned a lot about slopers and heel-hooks on this one.

This is hilarious hahahahha. Probably tried this more times than Superfly or Easy-Chair. V4? Who knows. V-ungradeable.

Probably the best crack I've ever climbed. Insanely good and unlikely finger-lock slab-dancing. Climbed as one giant pitch. Consider me fucken exasperated.

Never been so pumped on a slab in my life.

(Aside: if you choose to lower off the top anchor to the ground you'll need like a 90m rope. Best to bring your partner up on second then do two raps.)

Granite crack climbing had been a lesson and a half. Not a solid trad climber, minimal experience on crack and granite put it all together and you got a steep learning curve full of humbling goodness. I laughed, I cried, I swore I wouldn't try it again, I tried it again.

Probably should've warmed up. Super rad finger-locking up an aesthetic line.

Got too bricked to place gear in the crux, so hit the gas and got lucky and made it to the chains.
