Routes in Canada for selected grade

Climbs the easternmost of the three major south buttresses of Combatant above the col. Approached via a bench at the elevation of the col (the Shelf)

Descend the pocket glacier to the base of the southeast buttress. Climb this buttress, through sandy broken terrain and with poor protection in places in the first ~75m. Above this, the rock improves up a steep yellow slab to a small gendarme. Descend into the notch and climb easier ground above to the summit.

Descend as per the West Ridge (down that route.)

Climb the black, lichen-covered depression in the south face, following corner systems to the east ridge, then to the summit.

4 bolts. climb up to the overhanging chunk of rock, pull some difficult moves up to a good ledge and continue up through easier climbing. Varitaon 12a — start traversing from shore, and work your way into the route. Difficulty varies depending on water level, with higher water level turns into a pump fest pulling through to the second bolt.

a lot harder when tall, hence the slash upgrade. Right hand in the topo photo is wrong. It should go above your right foot on a sharp undercling.

SDS on the glory jugs with a great right heel. Fire out to the small, sloping crimp and then the decent sloper rail. Find a way to the top of the prow. Bad Landing. Est V5.

Start on the rail and reach. Grade highly height dependent.

Sit start at the base of the obvious left facing corner. Climb it! Key foothold broke (again...) (originally V8).

This is the full line that start with the left gaston of the v5 version but for your right hand and a blocky shaped left gaston. It add two harder moves to the problem. Worth checking

Easier from left to right. Start on Deliverance and traverse right along the base of the overhang. Go past Testicular, around the corner down low, and finish on jugs just before it becomes dangerous. Go there and back again for a solid 5.12-5.13 burn. Some fun variations exist going up to the ledge at various spots on the corner. Downclimb from these beside testicular.

Dans la face sans utiliser le dièdre à droite. Même fin que "Moby Dick".

Prendre le bon trou, puis la tablette et finir en Dülfer. (Il n'y a pas de relais.)

Même départ qu'Alter Ergos. Bifurquer à droite sur la ligne de scellements vers le dièdre et continuer à doite dans le dièdre surplombant. Voie de qualifications hommes et finale femmes au Challenge Millet 2006. Brossage nécessaire...

Départ dans la flotte. Partir plutôt dans Libéré des libéraux. Les deux lignes se rejoignent pas longtemps après le début. Continuer dans le dièdre, sortir un premier petit toît sympa vers la gauche en franchissant l'arête, puis tenter de refaire ses forces pour le dernier nouveau crux de sortie juste avant le relais qui a été remonté de 2 mètres par Benoit Dubois en 2006. C'est pas fini tant que ce n'est pas fini! Brossage nécessaire...

Relais sur arbre. Départ conjoint avec Rock Scaling. Après 3 scellements, bifurquer à gauche. Entamer la traverse à droite sur la rampe mais sortir tout droit dans le toit vis-a-vis la sangle jaune, puis rejoindre le relais sur un arbre à gauche. Muy picante! Cette voie voie fut d'ailleurs la voie de finale d'une compétition organisée par Guy.

Relais sur arbre. Départ conjoint avec Rock n' Roll. Après 3 scellements, continuer à droite dans le dièdre. Passer le premier petit toit, traverser la rampe à droite et sortir dans le dièdre. L'ouvreur a fait tomber une énorme strate sous le premier gros toit, d'où le nom. Départ à gauche de Délirium, traverser à droite sous un toit avant de sortir en finir dans un dièdre. Brossage nécessaire...

Terminer dans le dièdre à droite dans le prolongement de la craque. 2 dégaines fixes rouge uni marquent cette voie. Brossage nécessaire...

Relais sur arbre. Sans doute LA voie test la plus populaire pour tous ceux qui désirent élever leur niveau en drytooling. Réussirez-vous à passer le toit? Brossage nécessaire...

Fissure extraordinaire qui passe par une série de toits. Départ d’un relais caché en arrière d’un ancien cèdre, à 15 mètres du sol. L’accès le plus facile à ce cèdre c’est par la droite, du pied d' "Atomic Limbo".

Variant de Fissure Inconnue. Finir dans la fissure du toit aux relais Déferlance.

La classique difficile du site. Grimpez le départ du Comte de Montecristo. Après avoir clipper la 5ème bolt avec une longue dégaine, traverser dans le Boson de la Merci. Attention la traverse est exposée. Le link-up évite les crux des deux autres voies. Mais, c’est une escalade beaucoup plus continue. Super!!!

Sur un bloc en dessous du “headwall” se trouve cette voie courte et dure.

PROJET Ne pas grimper pour l'instant. Départ sur une vire, suivre une section orange suivi d'une section surplombante.

Est-ce que 5.12b ou 5.12c ? En tout cas, c'est une belle voie toute en résistance et en technique! Se termine à la grosse vire.

Rééquipée en 2015. Il s’agit de résoudre un problème de bloc pas évident à mihauteur.

Une longue traverse à droite qui suit la vire sur toute sa longueur.

To the right of Jimmy Got Gat. Up the the slightly overhanging face past thin crimps and a sloper. Is a ice climb in the winter so it can be wet anytime during the summer.

Right line of bolts just left of the gulley. Spicy bolt spacing.

Start just left of “Smoke and Mirrors”. Same start as the roof open project, but at the third fix draw continue to traverse through the steam of jugs. Links into “ Iago Roof”. Super fun jug pulling!

Description A harder direct start for Gabe. Hard, thin climbing similar to Screaming Life past three spaced bolts, then join the fourth bolt of Gabe and continue as per that route.
