Thought I was on something else so I mostly climbed off route. Went around to the left on P1 (5.8). Climbed most of P2 but traversed over to the left before the final moves lowering the grade slightly. Worked on the crux sequence of P3 (BEAUTIFUL!). Aid climbed 10-12m after the crux and freed the rest. Rappelled from the anchor of P3

Very classic and scenic route. Be sure to ask where to start. You can do it from pitch 1, or jump them around by hiking through the Virgins cave, then exit to the right, climb over a gutter and over a cliff to get to pitch 6. Last pitch has a small crux, but it is very enjoyable.

This was definitely the best pitch of the day. It's a traverse to the left in the red part of the tower. Some difficult cruxy moves up a small bulge.

2 5.11b Sport lead by Fabian Michel

Would be a nicer pitch without the very real danger of falling onto the belay ledge if you fall before clipping one of the first four quickdraws (it's a kind of overhanging traverse going up and left). There are two additional bolts to the right of the line which I used to reach the upper part without the danger of falling onto the ledge.

Nice (but short) sport route through the red rock on the tower. From the top of the tower, we did a rather adventurous rappel down the mouth where the Panic Point pitch starts, but I'm not sure if we would have reached the anchor we were aiming for if the people at the belay in the mouth wouldn't have caught our rope and dragged us toward the wall so I could clip one of the bolts in the mouth in order to stay closer to the wall.

Saved this climb for my last climb in Squamish. This climb has it all, from techie slabs, finger cracks, lay backs, hand jams, run outs, under cling traverses, bolt ladders. You name it, it has it. Slipped off Split Pillar and took a screamer on the sword pitch. Wouldn’t have wanted a better partner to do this with. Cheers John. And to the rest of the parties on this route on this day 👊

Near the top there are 2 bolt lines, use the ones on the right. Fun climbing on huge holds at the beginning leads into a spicy slab finish.

7 5.11- 38m Sport lead by Mitchell Canham

This pitch is the reason to climb this route. Back clean the 1st draw after clipping the 2nd draw.

The crux is pulling through the first 4 moves steep wall on the sharpest rock you may ever touch. Awesome varied climbing on various different types of Rockies limestone. Fight the pump and rope drag for the send.

There was a very loose death block about 4 or 5 bolts up that would fall very close to the belayer. It may fall off by itself soon.

Wonderful climbing, though quite crowded. Linked P2+3 and nothing else. P1+2, 3+4 and 5+6 would make more sense if trying to be more pitch efficient. Pulled on a draw at the start of P5 because I underestimated the face climbing (crux) before the roof.

2 5.9 Second lead by Alex Villarreal

3 5.10a Sport

Muy buena.

4 5.9 Second lead by Alex Villarreal

Ligeramente hebrada.

6 5.9 Second lead by Alex Villarreal

Definitely more sustained than Hals-und. The first pitch is not the main attraction and definitely guards the entry to the climb. The rest of the climb offers great, varied sections with good belays. Retreat is possible with double ropes until the P4 bolted anchor. Has been mostly cleaned until halfway through P5. Small gear on P1, standard double rack with a single #4. Never placed the #3. I linked P3 and P4 but good rope drag management is required.

Great crack climbing with mandatory jamming and some good exposure on your left side.

Onsighted the first "pitch" up to the slung boulder, but then blocked an essential foot jam further up by plugging in a #4 BD cam. Hung three times on a .75 offset cam with my next piece 3m further below me after back-cleaning the #4. Finally managed the mandatory jams and got up the rest of the route easily.

Easily the best rock climb I've ever been on ! A very faff filled three days of exhaustion! First I jumped in on Shane and toms plan to climb to the crux and fix to the ground. Then I didn't feel like I could leave without atleast trying to crux pitch + above. Lucky Caleb wasn't Farr away. So we came back and climbed up the the crux and I had two shots. Felt close but just didn't have the endurance! Then the next day was absolutely faffy and we both got pretty exhausted. So keen to come back to this !

Climbed it in two sections but was too tired to link the whole thing. I had to spend a lot of time cleaning/drying holds and working out the beta. V2 is accurate but it's surprisingly tricky and very powerful.

Cruiser than expected but would be something else on lead! Flashed the first crux transition and finished the bottom section with 2 sits.

Then a loooong sit to work out the roof. Pretty pooped on that one but it went. Double kneebar. Rad.

Shane hoofed up on lead and set a toppy for all us plebs to go rip the skin off our fingers (on this and digital readout). Would be amazing to climb this well! doesnt feel like you need to be super strong, just a really good creek climber. The roof goes surprisingly easy (i still stuffed it). Despite my floundering, it felt cool being on the same piece of rock as in the stanhope arcteryx vid ive watched a million times.

Could do all the moves . Technical crux with small crimps. Go to small crimp with left then bump up with left to another small crimp (with right you can hold a very small crimp on the right. Then go with left to good side ledge. With right to the crimp you had with left. Then right foot up a bit on big foothold and go up to good ledge.

Very nice route. Did not figure out the crux move but also did not try that long. It is over the second bolt. Moving from a a side crimp and a crimp into a really good incut crimp. The rest feels hard on endurance but the moves seem doable.
