First ever first ascent! 5 days cleaning and bolting and then two to send. Crux move is quite condition dependant, and i thought it was going to be much much harder after attempting it in the sun. But a night time ascent with nice cool temps had the crux crimp feeling good and making the movement much easier. Totally wild position for the grade and well worth the effort despite being less sustained than hoped. Probably grade 21 for the first 10m then chills considerably. Totally psyched and an awesome experience!

An enjoyable couple of days to get this sorted. Climbed as 2 pitches (linking the top two). Good crack and face climbing, with all the hard moves being bolt protected roofs. Marred solely by some sections of average rock.

This is a really enjoyable little route. More solid rock like the Araplactic end of crag and good holds and just enough placements for a few handish sized cams between the bolts. Nice belay ledge at top of route to bring second up and enjoy the view together

Repeat with Robin and Caitlyn but a total Alzheimers onsight, including going the wrong way on P1; future reference, just stay on the right side. P2 was easier than I remembered with no off-widthing required. P3 start was still hard as shit and I didn’t remember the chimney being that tight but I still had an absolute blast of a time. So good!! Definitely sections of “do not fall” on P1 and P3.

This is one of the best experiences of my life: finding this route, developing it, and putting it all together for the send. It may just be a piece of rock; however, this experience represented something much more potent in my life. I cannot describe what that is, yet I now understand.

A really nice climb A few notes The first third of pitch one, up the slab has very little pro. There are no bolts or carrots at the top of this pitch. There is some gear in the wall at the top of the block (belay piont) but you will have to look for it. Do not underestimate the off-width on pitch 2. We only used one bolt plate and that was on pitch 2. Having a #5 or #6 cam is handy for this pitch. But probably not essential. There is a DBB at the top of pitch 2. The first move off the blay station for pitch 3 is very difficult compared to the rest of this climb. Pitch 3 is a chimney. If you climb inside the chimney you will only fit if you are thin/small and will not fit with a backpack on. If you step to the outside of the chimney there is more space but less gear. Choose your own adventure. There is a DBB at the top of pitch 3. This climb gets sun early... like 10am

Man, had to fight hard to stay on in a few spots on the send go. Not exactly the most elegant ascent this route has seen, but really enjoyed it! Plenty of jugs to haul around on.

The line is unquestionably primo. The climbing itself was like questing up a slimey waterslide at Raging Waters. I slowly greased out of a right jam on the crux transition a couple of times before pulling the rope and sending it. Crack gloves next time A memorable ascent, although I might wait for a couple of seasons of glorious El Niño conditions before repeating this one.

Then head right (there are some bolts to protect the walk here) following the bolts until reaching the "crack-cave"? entrance and abseil 2. Abseil 3 and 4 are straight down. After abseil 4, head right and follow the track until DRP written in the face of the rock. Pitch 1 tricky start on the arete. Pitch 2, very short, with a face-climb crimpy crux in the middle. Defo feeling the exposure here Pitch 3 juggyland! After the top-out, head left following the line of bolts until reaching the ground of Abseil 1. To the left (facing the abseil) there is a line of U-bolts to go up (Pitch 4). * Parking meter has been struck by something/someone (?), not working. Everyone parking on Essendene road anyways
