Ascents in Eastern Suburbs as various tick types

Had to run away before getting eaten alive by the mosquitos!

Pretty fun problem. Conditions felt horrible for me - had to find a bunch of knee bars to take the weight. Still definitely needs some refinement.

I found this pretty hard.

So wet and slippery. Feels like 21 at roof, prob due to slopers being wet.

Very greasy, and sandy. Not to mention a total sandbag! Around 10 frustrating attempts. Maybe its the conditions but to me its a hard V3 or an "easy" V4... Did not make it today.

didn't finish the climb sadly. A big jug exploded when i weighted it for a rock over move above the third bolt. This send awaits for another day.

I knew that it was damp when I started so I am not sure why I carried on. Fell at the roof but got everything else ok.

3 great crimpy levels until the first nice hold, i shouted "YES! This is an awesome hold! it was just not bad.", some nice moves right after the second draw, getting up past the undercling to a nice v takes some work. From the 2nd last bolt (not counting belays) there is a great arete and a super tricky move (for me) to bump left up, left up and then go for the top with the right from a 1cm wide n 5ish or more long sloper-crimp :3

Some really big moves on this route, holds look chipped but there are some great pockets and moves to be amongst, having the confidence to extend bring great happiness

Sweet walk out to the platform guided by ropes, extra nice view if you walk past the climb and up the rockfall around the corner.

Good three pitches, funny start and some nice moves on P2. Definite crux just past the 3rd bolt on the last pitch, pretty reachy move to get up.

After countless attempts this awesome choose your own adventure traverse has once again out done me. Great problem solving. I just need to build the finger strength to stick out the pump

Didn't quite make it past the crux, had about 3 good goes at the move just after coming out from the overhang. The first 10m or so is really great climbing especially the first bouldery 3-4m.

I think seconding with rest is an understatement. The first 10m is great and really good moves, then when the bolts start again the it gets really chossy and generally not so nice. I'm sure the last few moves coming out from the roof would have been great but i couldn't really see anything with it being night and all. EDIT: since returned in an attempt to clear the choss from the second pitch, about 30% still remains but it is a vast improvement.

So damp even though it had been a while without rain.. made it a few bolts up but didn't finish.

Made it to the crux, but no further! Took a couple of good lead falls trying though Luckily Katie finished the route and cleaned it.

4 dogging attempts today. Glimpses of possibilty.

Even after a dry sunny week the start is wet. At least now I know to just bring bucket of chalk and rags instead of worrying about conditions...

Only made it to the overhang (third draw) but what an awesome climb to that point! Had to scrub the first major sloper hold as it was covered in salt residue but after that it was highly satisfying. The moves! The holds! I'll be back to tackle this one again!

I didn't get pumped this time, probably because I remembered where lots of the key holds were located. Three times a charm, next time I'll do it clean. An amazing climb with good holds, some cool moves and makes you work for your send. One of the greater Sydney climbs.

Had a go, but was seeping too much between 2nd and 3rd bolts.

First Sydney Sea Cliffs experience. Beautiful, secluded setting but lots of loose rock, especially around bolts 4-6, and heaps of sand. Next time rack will include a broom.

Ouch! Not an easy problem.

Excellent start but some difficult holds for my fat fingers further up.

Truely an amazing problem! Love it but kept failing on the dyno. Can't wait to get back there and finish it! If it doesn't have a star it should be given one!

Working my way through the crux and my hand slid off the winning hold! All I can say is thank the maker that I own a thick crash pad!

As expected for a sea side cliff (especially at the mouth to a gully) there's a bit of sand floating about. The key is not to use those holds. I found lots of alternate holds and got through the climb (on the dog sadly) with no serious issues. It's a steep 18 which offers a good challenge. Certainly earns the two stars. Did it on a sunny and warm day which added to the fun of it. Make sure you avoid high tide and slip slop slap if you're there before the afternoon.

Attempted this one as a warmup lead. Mistake, bailed around the steep section.

Top roped this in the dark. Lots of fun, especially the dino at the end. Couldn't make a move in the middle, so will need to come back for it soon!
