Routes in Sydney Metropolitan for selected grade

Sit start on the very right side of the boulder with big crack for starting hands. Move straight up.

The finger crack at far right end of crag. A bit sandy, but not beyond redemption. Shared finish from the ledge with "Kindy Corner"

Easy ramp 4m R of Angry Ants, lower off above ledge.

Start left of the grass tree. Traverse along the rail to top out at "Kookin' in the Foamies".

Start low and follow the juggy rail to top out at "The Search"

Original ascent solo by G.James - he noted that there were boulders poised to fall out. (Someone subsequently chipped the start) Up the staircase, veg ledge, then up blocky low angled corner or giant wall jugs. Tree belay.

On left side of base of rounded buttress. Up to ledge, then right. Originally soloed. 3BR and DBB. One of the lower off bolts has been partially cut, but I think it's fine to use as part of a lower-off. I estimate that it would still hold a LOT (5 to 10 kN), is only subject to lowering forces, and is paired with another full strength Ubolt. mikl law

Stand start up middle of slab.

Stand start on large sidepull and slab your way to the top.

The access pitch for the next 5 climbs. Start from bunch of small trees. The obvious low angle slab leading left across the middle of the wall to a rap chain.

Easiest sport route in town? A good beginner's route. Walk down and R 10m from Wire Brush and Dettol, then down the Right side of a boulder. Walk climb the ridge.

Super juggy arête pillar thing on left side of cave. Dirty top out. History unknown.

Up easy corner to lower off below roof.

The large rock has fallen down. Route is no more

Squeeze up into the slot and squirm on your stomach out to the lip. What a megaclassic.

Little layback corner. Can be used as a variant start to Kaching.

The wide crack two meters left of the arete

Follow the ramp up

Sit start holding the lower portion of the ledge and facing towards the whale statue. Heel hook and rock over to the good jug, then easy moves to the top. Great warm up.

Up the left crack of the easy angled gully protected by solid hexes, or larger cams if you must. Tree belay then walk off. Beware loose blocks, leaf litter and fear of 3m runouts up 40 degree gullies.

Easy crack with bombproof hex placements and monster wall jugs. Think about it.

Up right side crack bridging all the way clipping the 2nd bolt when reached (optional cam in lower crack) top out or traverse left to anchors

Scramble up btw boulders (shared start), Right up short slab to anchors.

Rumored to be sent with VB in hand, aptly named and graded (possible sand bag at the grade).Up left side of crack to arete and top out through easy exit, then down climb it.

Something to do before you pop your shoes on. Standing start and up to the rounded jug, topping out beneath the branch on top.

Up the crack in the corner

Start on the two bigs jugs, go straight up.

straight forward climb starting Pocket rockets rail then traversing across and up the pillar with cracks. and top out above using easy jugs and foot holds. Watch for spiders, they aint pretty and test all holds.

Start on low jug

Sitstart. Right most climb.

Run-out with just a couple of horizontal breaks for poor cam placements. More of a high-ball boulder. Climb to the left of the tree half-way, then some unnerving dusty moves to top-out.

A low trasverse. Big holds at the start.

An easy pleasant excursion up the arete left of DAJ8.

Chimney up between the isolated rock and cliff face.

Start both hands on side pull, go up to the flat. Go right and reach for the left jug (end). Downclimb, i'm too scared to go further. No room for pads.

Stand start on pocket

Wide corner followed by short chimney.

Up the obvious ramp to top.

Traverse the break at 3m from left to right with bomber cams.

Right side of the slab. Establish with no hands then tap the scoop with your hands (indoor style). Up easily and top out.

Start hands matched on the low undercling on the left of the slab. Easily up to top out.

Up the corner using medium to large gear. Stainless carrot belay 3m back from top.

Up the large flakes system.

How to get down "Through the Roof"

A fun easy route on the upper ledge accessed by topping out any of the other problems. Sit start at the big break then up through gym quality pockets to an interesting top out. Note: there is no space for a mat, please take care around the foliage at the base.

As for PMFM. Up low angled, right tending corner crack. BR out right near the top (on SSLT). Tree belay.
