Ascents in South Australia as various tick types

Intro session to this one, first 3 moves are fairly clear, but then the top holds all feel pretty shite. May not have found the 'Green tuna' hold yet..

First play on this one. First 2 moves make sense but then your feet run out on the next move. Might need some more imagination next session

Felt hard today even though I was hang dogging.

I should focus this and get it done but this style might not be me atm.

Trying this after watching Andrew trying it for some time. Cool moves out of Crossroads to a nails dyno. Felt super hard to generate the right kind of power stay close to the wall and then catch the hold. My best effort I managed to slap the hold but no latch. Maybe one day for me

I’m counting both of today’s attempts because I used the rock behind. Tricky start esp for the first route of the day.

Last effort before my trip — highest point so far! clean from the ground to the roof, clipped the 5th draw but was cooked and couldn't pull the roof... Just gotta keep trying! hopefully I won't regress too much during my trip...

A real puzzle - be prepared to think! Weighted my top rope more times than metres in this climb! Hard!

Quite a nice route! The borrowed segments are nice and the connecting traverse (crux) is great and quite tricky, I don't think I ever would have onsighted it, but fair once the sequence is clear. I'll send it next time

No hope attempts to pull through the very strong crux. Worth a star even for the interesting awkward first half.

Pulled through the crux on a clean burn and went all the way through to the jam and pinch. Just dropped the move to the undercling. SO incredibly stoked with this progress!!! Didnt realise I could get this close so soon. Maybe I dont need to revise my crux beta after all?

Seems harder every time. Or I just like unsending climbs that are my current project. Felt slippery today and very side pully

Slipped off when setting up for the crux move Did manage to pull back on and went clean to just past the pinch and jam. Just didnt latch the undercling. Tried to find some alternative beta for the crux below but still couldnt manage anything else other than my sequence with the gaston shouldery move.

Seems like the move from the pinch to the undercling might be my red point crux now

worse attempt than on the weekend, but worth it for accumulating more miles on it...

New highpoint tonight. Crux went too easily tonight, ran out of steam 2 moves from the mantle! Proud of that session.

amazing line. First time I went clean from the halfway rest to the end, but still need to dial the first half and link it all. One day!

Too pumped again to send. Fell getting the right slot after the 4th bolt

Going for a red point. Too pumped to make the move above the final undercling.

Good looking line, pulling off the ground is hard enough, but taking a hand off to go up is harder still. Might just need another pair of eyes and some funky beta!

This is so good — first time I get that sequence after the first draw, avoiding the dead point move. Slab and roof went better this time, but all with lots of rests on the draws...

All moves done in first session, sweet line for sure

Turns out I had no beans left. Did the first crux okay and then felt too pumped to clip the first long sling and had sit.

Decided to continue to try top and took a good fall getting into the first rest and then took another rest before doing the slab into the roof.

At least managed the roof sequence to the top.

Never got the tick on this and now I remember why. Felt like a classic Summit over-chalked slopey mess of a route. Pumped out before going over the top. Spent too long down low searching for something good.

Another burn and marginal progress?

Still couldnt get through the first crux clean from the ground but again did it first try after a hang.

Made better progress through the next sequence matching the good U shaped undercling to help get my moves in the right order. Dropped moving up into the pinch. Clean to the top again after that.

(Two hangs - time to cut down how long I rest on them and or try take one hang out..... or both?)

Got to the TR chains and rested well before trying the first crux. Got the RH but couldnt get my feet up.

Pulled back on after a good hang and got the move first try and even made some progress getting the right kneebar and a hand sequence to move into next crux before the hand jam.

Took another hang and then blasted to the top. The jam sequence goes quite well now but I suspect when doing this clean it will feel a lot more pumpy.
