Ascents in World by Nick Foulds

A very fun route with decent holds everywhere you want them but enough off balance and slight overhang to make you feel like you are working for a lot of the moves. Will come back for a clean send on this one. Final move on lead adds a bit of spice too.

Nice route, good warmup, has a couple sneaky to find holds that keep it interesting. Couldn't find a crucial foot at one point and rested to see it as I didn't want to get flash pumped on my first route if the day.

Solid progress on day one. Going for the drop down to the mantle. Back to it next Fri.

Gutted not to send today, mild injury to my left little finger sustained on 3rd try.

Interesting boulder. The intricacy is in the first move. Top out is tentative but as long as you have reach pretty straightforward. I don't think it has hard enough movement or holds to be V7.

Really nice moves and good holds, some bits that are a bit tricky and force you out of comfort. Makes for the grade. Felt like it should have gone quicker, generous holds most of the way but a bit of awkward footwork prior to gaining the crimp (or I was overthinking it!). Excellent route, nice mantle to finish too.

Had a fairly weak couple of attempts at getting this done. Still feeling a bit underpower, will come back for it.

Still very hard. May have worked out a little more beta on last visit but the connect from this start to start holds of Aerial Turkey is still desperate.

Excellent bloc at the grade. Rare to find something this good at such a nice entry level difficulty.

Excellent bloc. Sent 2 ways. Right toe and back flag probably harder start than frog front on start.

Still can;t get my head around committing to the final move. Did feel the sidepull prior to the lip this time though, so new high point and figured the beta for the sidepull switch to undercling that I will use around the 2nd to 3rd clip. Nice route, looking forward to ticking it soon.

One of the best routes at KP. Quality rock and great movement the whole way. Not to mention it makes you feel like a boss. First clean redpoint of this, pleased with the style and quality of this send (if I do say so myself).

Great Route. such interesting climbing and a spicy mantle at the end. Absolute must do for budding leaders at this grade, will teach a lot.

I did a slight variation on the route, moving into the start holds from a dynamic move below but still a stand start. Felt like a more logical start to the line and adds an excellent dynamic 'gyn' like move before the rail. Excellent Bloc.

Took a bit of doing but lead to a great sequence from the roof crack into the start of the V3. Well worth the addition.

Always gives me pause at the lower crux. I seem to do it wrong 80% of the time and then once in a while it goes like butter. One day I will remember the correct sequence through that lower crux!

FINALLY sent this route! After years of getting close, then getting distracted by other stuff and forgetting everything by the time I returned! I finally put it all together. Also Alex sent it 2 goes later on his first day trying it. Very Nice!

Very similar to Footprints on the other side. Feels similar grade wise also. Maybe his is half a grade easier to me. Good route, nice climbing on good holds.

Lovely climbing, not much tech required though, mostly mid to large crimps/jugs up a mildly overhung headwall. Some of the best climbing of its kind at Brooyar I would say.

Excellent route. Gets a bit go-ey by the end of the sustained headwall. keep cool and move well!

The initial crux pre 2nd bolt is quite stiff for 19 but 19 nonetheless, easier ground to follwo and the second cruck accessing the bulge above is great and has various solutions to it. Finishing comfortably up eay terrain to the chains. Cracking Route highly recommend.

Went second go. Was silly with my footwork at the top on my first round. Nice to send this again, fun little burly end stage after a delcate start. short but packs a fun time!

Pedro had a line up Loosing Fingers, so decided to have a run at it despite my dodgy knee! Found the bottom section straightforward, the crux prior to and including the lip didn't go today but feels doable with a bit of work. Turning the lip was a no go with my leg at that time. Nice to have another look at it though.

Such a good route, nice to come back and do it again several years later. Great to feel the progress on this one, felt Desperate when I sent it last but pretty cruisy today

More like a 14/15 I reckon. Also lost a hold this day. Very good climbing though nice route.

This route is just excellent. Should definitely see more attention.

An awkward route but worth doing. Took a couple to get the moves down.

Very poopy top out but nice juggy holds pretty much the whole way. Excellent route.

Excellent route. Enjoyed this first proper session on it a LOT. Got all the moves from the bottom to the bump from the matched pinch rail. Figured out the following hold after being 'done'. Looking forward to next trip.

Excellent little boulder problem, great move with an airy feeling that makes it spicy even if it would be pretty tricky to get wrong once in motion.

I would say the move on this is easily harder than any part of The Rick White problem at Toohey forest (famously reported as sandbagged). It is a one move wonder but that one move is harder than V4 imo.

The mantle top out coupled with the awkward fall (if it were to happen) make this top a bit spicy. I made it much worse than it needed to be!

Used back boulder for foot. Doesn't count as proper send. Have done it in the past with Chris Green and Dan Godson.

Really good climbing on super comfy pockets. Some fun footwork too.
