Ascents by Ben Jenga having Distinct route

Good fun an nice and long. Glad I took a set of wires out with me.

First of the approach pitchs. Ok.

Summit fever. The best route on the Moai and a classic for the grade. Plenty of gear and fun moves with a few bolts to protect the harder stuff. Climbed in approach shoes

Another old one. Two laps today, one chalkless.

Good warm up but the hardest for the grade route we did all day. Couple of tricky wires in the middle.

First pitch a bit crap, second pitch is great and not to hard which is good.

Past tick. Great adventure climb up a great feature.

One of the classic hand jamb cracks in the mountains. I have done this a couple of time now and it's always worth it. Bootied a cam out of the bottom.

Repeat. The no gear high ball arete start was a bit of a wake up call and the rest of the climb was just a good.

One of the most adventurist routes in the area and worth bringing a rack down. The rock is mostly better then it looks, moderate level choss. Hoping to replace the anchor next time we are down.

Yep not the best warm up, cruised till 6 metres from the top where I had a major brain fart and fumbled for gear for about 5 mins until I got my shit together and topped out.

I think this is the right climb. Tricky steep hand jam start then nice climbing.

Just the first half then up to the diminishing returns lower off. Great long adventure route the way. Psyched to do the rightward traverse next time I am back.

Really great corner in the middle. Fun to place the trads

Consolation prize. Not the best way to finish a great Victorian road trip, but it could have been worse.

Fun value at 18, escaping the cell is hard work then the climb keeps going and going. Good gear the whole way but use lots of long draws.

Good long crack route with some loose blocks for extra fun. First 35m pitch only the rapped off.

Super fun happy route. Chasing Gordon on the bard.

Tuff at the grade, great route to get into the style. Mitch lead the second pitch

I have always wanted to do this route, tricker then I had expected

Cool varied climbing but could be pretty intimidating if HVS was your limit. Mixed cracks to a fun cut loose and switch on the first pitch to a semi hanging trad belay with a small ledge. A bit of a squeeze for three people. Second pitch tricky start and odd traverse then bold and long face with limited gear. The fang is a pretty cool feature.

I though I would just do a quick climb so Dana could second, wow this climb rocks!!! Fun crack climb start to steep grit jugs finish. Must do.

Steepest thing I have done on the grit... Pull-up into a roof and slide along until you can stand up and finish up the wall. Great novelty climb.

Seconded Dana after long belay. No gear at the crux unless you have a number 6. Not a very good climb in the cold with hiking boots and a down on..

Pretty good grit warm up. A bit of a classic but showing the signs of the prolonged love. Flashed on Paul's gear.

Nice one Jammy jam a lot. Lead placing gear after giving Paul a catch, pretty straight forward climb with one tricky spot. Rapped off a bit block up top.

Pretty easy with pretty average gear. More of an easy solo with some speed bump gear.

This climb was way better then I was expecting. Fun blocky start to a over hang rock over then slab to crack. Classic.

First pitch only for a little fun. Good fun steep jugs.
