End of day.

No record here but i'm sure i'd tried it in the past, maybe a flash? Maybe went too far right on the first crux bit not sure what the ethic is but felt about right for the grade defiantly harder than streaker. Drawers were up cam was in.

Arrived to find the drawers up, good way to start the day after a horrendous drive up. Nice consistent climbing.

A couple of toprope plays on bottom half… middle bit is kinda doable… My route to right is maybe as hard but worse gear … still need to improve feet, maybe need to do some more standboarding…?

But the start is absolutely nails… really difficult somewhat tenuous slightly highballish boulder problem before things settle down a bit… top is easier but still able to fall off I guess …

Repeat with Robin and Caitlyn but a total Alzheimers onsight, including going the wrong way on P1; future reference, just stay on the right side.

P2 was easier than I remembered with no off-widthing required.

P3 start was still hard as shit and I didn’t remember the chimney being that tight but I still had an absolute blast of a time. So good!!

Definitely sections of “do not fall” on P1 and P3.

I didn’t know there were routes like this in the blues, I very long sequence of technical climb, the send was a bit anticlimactic, chalking up on the last crimp quite fresh compared to all the other shot. Anyway beautiful

First session, 2 attempts on it. Happy to stick the beta for the crux down low! Pretty pumpy in the middle all the way to the slab!

Hard bouldery start, nice knee bar rests.

Second session, went on the warm up go!

3rd/4th draw, get back

Surprisingly enjoyable face/slab climb for the grade, or maybe just felt good at the end of the day. Worth redoing.

Placed bolt plate incorrectly on second draw before the chains - most likely, did not turn it up properly before clipping - and it popped once I moved up pulling rope and changing angle on quick draw. Wasted time on replacement, should have simple put new plate and clip.

Will go on the next try.

Notes:

Splitter condies.

Rack: -2*1/2 ropes (60s but 50s would have been ideal). -anchor kits (just quads would have been fine) ~12 bolt plates -Bunch of alpine draws with bolt plate compatable biners -Few draws (would just bring alpines next time) -Few double slings -Set of nuts (unsed none) -single set cams equiv 0.3-3

Approx approx 1hr Raps*3 approx 45 mins (low angle featured terrain, would have been better to bag/saddlebag), can see where groups stop too early.

Pitched, approx 2.5hrs on route with some routefinding/carrot finding faff (hint- several belays are 'over the edge' on ledges and can be hard to spot).

Belays mostly double carrots/GIMBs.

Three star atmosphere/location, many bivy caves, route best framed as mountaineering adventure terrain, mostly rambling with a few spooky moves.
