Awesome to see a new route at KP! Thanks to the developers for their efforts!

There’s fine dirt / sand on just about every hold at the moment and prospective belayers should be well versed in the safety squint before offering up a catch.

Regarding grade, my 2¢ is that at 17 the route is a definite soft touch. I would compare the difficulty to Halva, Anonymous DS, and Moonlight Dilemma. It also feels softer than its neighbour, Frontier Psychiatrist which goes at 16. The star also feels quite generous.

20 ~21 My Karma Just Ran Over Your Dogma - with Amy Chan, dre Sport 45m Very Good
Fun pitch in an airy position! Softer than The Digital Revolution, in my opinion.

Similar to the rock on pitch 3 of Banished for Infidelity, but less prone to coming off in your hand.

21 R Euthanasia - with Angela Seeto Sport 17m, 4
Erroneously started closer to Pterodactyl D and had to traverse back left under the roof. Fun climbing, but a bit of space between BR 2 and 3. There might be opportunities for gear, but I wasn't looking for it.

Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Pierces Pass Bunny Bucket Buttress and Hotel California Area
18 Bunny Bucket Buttress - with Amy Chan
1 18 20m Sport lead by Robert Hartley

Nothing quite like a stiff, reachy boulder problem to warm up the tendons!

2 18 20m Sport lead by Robert Hartley

Fun moves up the short corner, and a jam to get onto the arête above.

3 18 40m Sport lead by Robert Hartley

Probably the standout pitch, in terms of climbing. A delicate slab traverse up to a blunt arête tenuous move to other side.

4 8 30m Second lead by Amy Chan

Super dirty!

5 8 40m Second

Also dirty, but with at least some vertical ledges.

6 18 40m Sport lead by Robert Hartley

Really cool moves through the roof, jug-haul the rest of the way up.

Extended the first 4 bolts. Rope drag was apparent, but manageable.

7 18 40m Sport lead by Robert Hartley

Vertical jug hauling to slopey exit.

8 13 40m Second lead by Amy Chan

Nothing special, but particularly abrasive rock.

A indirect belay would be best from the top of this pitch.

Felt particularly effortless. Either a good night for me, or a soft 20. Definitely easier than Kiwi, closer to Pterodactyl or SCB.

Nothing special in my opinion. The first pitch was the stand out, and the fifth wasn't too bad either.

Stayed in the shade until about 12pm and would make a great introductory multi-pitch.

Began climbing the first pitch at approximately 9:00am and reached the final belay station at exactly 12:30pm. Instead of the exit methods proposed by the route description, we exited by rappelling from the final station into cave 5, which was fast enough though one could certainly walk it unprotected quite safely. From there we rappelled to the ground via Caves Route & Zeitgeist. As far as I could tell, the unprotected top out would have been more than safe, appearing no steeper / technical than West Track (Tourist Track).

Needless to say it was very hot being mid February and I would probably recommend waiting for winter or begin before dawn. In any case, bring sufficient water.

Overall the climb was quite enjoyable, albeit nothing particularly special. In my opinion the ratings of the harder pitches are a bit steep, I would say Ross Miller Route is no more demanding than Troposhere. My next run up the route will be at night to avoid the sun.

Regarding pitches:

P1: I imagine it would be an awkward start if you were shorter than 6', otherwise a pretty straightforward pitch. Very closely bolted.

P2: Nothing special, go left of the trees once you reach the ledge, anchor is obscured by them.

P3: Unprotected but very simple climbing, I just slung the trees (first felt like it would pull out if you fell on it). Only thing to note: Traverse right before passing the second tree, lest you have to backtrack to avoid the rope drag like I did.

P4: Probably the pitch with the nicest view on the route. Very closely bolted, the first is within reach at the belay station (didn't notice it until after beginning the ascent).

P5: Standout pitch for me, tied for most enjoyable climbing on the route with P7. Very closely bolted. So much so that I skipped several I simply didn't see.

P6: Well spaced, nondescript slab climbing around some scrub.

P7: Standout pitch for me, fun moves up to the left immediately after the belay. Closely bolted.

P8: Well spaced, nondescript slab climbing, more interesting than P6 only in that it's longer, steeper, and you get to have a quick peek into Cave 5.

Beware the occasional loosely attached blocks / hollow flakes up the route.
