Lovely climbing. Solid hand jambs in the first section over the roof getting wider as you get higher. Cams are easy to place when ever you want.

Good climb. First pitch felt hard for the grade. Tim ran pitches 3 & 4 together.

What a classic! Swung leads with Tim. Finished and abseiled off in the dark. ‘Interesting’ proposition, especially with four of us one the two-bolt anchor in the middle of the face.

Boulders start. Pleased to get the on sight 😊

Bouldery moves over the roof then better holds moving left toward AA then up and back right to a sustained finish (- not the same climb as AA after 4m as suggested in other comments on this site, but you can get a good rest on a knee bar in AA if required. )

Slopy start best climbed quickly/powerfully, then easier with a slight sting in the tail

Sustained

Well protected wall climbing. One or two harder moves but still easy for the grade - like all the climbs on this wall.

Pleasant wander out to and up the arete. Soft at the grade.

Juggy traverse followed by juggy bulging wall. Good fun.

A little run out after the midpoint but it’s on good holds.

Good holds all the way. Fun climb.

Very similar to the neighbouring 16

The Warm up

Led alternate pitches. Climbed quickly to the pitch above the rescue bin, then caught up with a couple of parties.

Climbing as two pairs. I led pitches 2 and 4. Mitch pulled off a large block at two thirds height on the last pitch. It didn't seem to change the grade but there is still some loose rock that would be best to be removed - but not on a busy holiday weekend.

Excellent lead by Roman at the end of the day. Just ran up it! A couple of long reaches and one tricky move using a small pocket for the right hand - otherwise mostly straightforward on good holds. The difficulty comes from the sustained steepness and the length of the pitch.

Pumpy warm up

Pleasant, varied climbing.

Hard start for the grade, no doubt getting harder as the ground at the base erodes. Pleasant and easy after the start.

Lovely climbing slapping up the arête. Sustained right to the last move.

Thin start, then pleasant moves up the crack. Definitely happier with the friend placement between third and fourth bolt.

Thin start until past the third bolt, then a series of technical mantle moves.

Will improve after a few ascents to clean off lichen

Take a very large Friend/Camalot for the top break or a 1 1/2 Friend for the pocket below the break

Lovely climbing on small positive holds

Didn't pause for a rest at the fourth bolt so was definitely feeling the pump on the finishing moves. Draws already in which helped too.

Awkward start over the roof at the grade. Easy after the first move.
