Man what a boulder. ENORMOUS move off a heel to the arete. The rest is a mystery -- Fucking fantastic. Intensely technical on the big move.

Sickkkk didnt need to cut. For my boy Liam. Idk wtf happened but i double palm pressed the mantle without the upper sloper. Panic instinct. V6 at least.

Man this is one of the best boulder problems I have ever done. Every hold, foot hold and the sequence throughout feels like it was sculpted in the confines of a gym. I won't share any beta because this experience must be felt from the start. Not particularly hard but top 5 of Auburn River and makes the top 5 of my personal QLD list.

Extremely interesting boulder problem. Can be done multiple ways and must do. The smell of new shoes never goes astray!

Don't do this sort of style often and I love it. Must do of the area. The low sit proj is really good too either left or right variant.

It is said that if Auburn boulderers don’t mantle the skull you have 10 years bad luck.

So good. Took me a little to figure out the position. Warmup? I got warm.

So cool. Harder than my first glance led me to believe.

There is significantly easier beta than using the left heel and goes same grade as Chalking Dead. Heel is cool though.

Think it is a little more like V6 but I like it and finally can cross it off.

This this was nails hard. Found static beta felt V3 honestly. I remember being sandbagged on this 2.5 years ago lol

Two sessions on this one. By far my hardest send, thanks to Grace and Ned for the support and spot.

Without a doubt will be a benchmark for auburn in terms of quality and difficulty. I haven't sent a V9 but this was in my style, and I had to properly try hard. Will tick as V8 as it feels on par with SEQLD V8 benchmarks and harder than a few other 8s. Perhaps a V9 but scared to tick it as my first. Keen to see others on this.

What a journey. Lost my headtorch battery in the car, bag peeled open and my water bottle floated downstream, went and got it to realise my food also was lost in the bush -- found that too. Beta didn't work with new shoes so 15 shots wasted but then I figured it out and it was "easy" all along. Celebrated with a skinny dip that last for about 3 seconds holy shit it was cold.

Really great line and definitely the toughest / real V7 at cedar.
