Ascents as Tick as trad by Bruce Schneider

Thwarted again! Had to bail on the 4th pitch due to the water still dripping out of the rock making things too slick to climb. Bummed.

Had to bail after two pitches because the rain was heading our way.

Linked this with Free Range Heggs. Wasn't feeling the mono, so grabbed the quickdraw. Oh well.

Just did the first 6 pitches, then rapped off. Apparently the best climbing starts at pitch 7, but I just wasn't feeling the vibe. Will have to come back another day and finish it.

Revisiting this classic which I hadn't climbed in years. Always a fun outing.

Had to bail after the 4th pitch due to time constraints. Keen to head back and finish this one day. The NE Buttress area can be a bit of a head spin when trying to figure out which routes go where. Lots of criss-crossing of routes, branched off variants, etc. Had surprisingly cool weather for November.

Got to finish the short version with Aaron. Pitch 4 led as a team effort. Hot day for it unfortunately. The escape along the scree slope was a bit of a mission, but glad I finally got to check it out.

Just did the first 2 pitches in order to do an anchor fix up.

Bailed after the third pitch because it starting raining. Will return to complete.

Only did the first pitch. I"m guessing this is an onsight, but can't remember. The Crag doesn't show any of my ascents from more than 10 years ago sadly.

Finally got around to climbing this classic after talking about it for the last 20 years or so. Really enjoyed it, though I need to get back into Trad climbing as sport climbing has spoiled me. Happy to have Simon leading the way and tackling the harder pitches. In my opinion, the final pitch had the nicest climbing. Rope drag on pitch 2 was quite horrible, but I noticed chalk on the headwall that I traversed past, so I'm guessing others have decided to avoid the rope drag by heading straight up - don't know what grade that would be. Stoked to have finally climbed this awesome line.

Mason (accidentally) linked pitches 1 & 2. I linked pitches 4 & 5 (deliberately). The climbing doesn't really happen until pitches 9 & 10 - the rest is pretty easy slab climbing, but on great rock with interesting features. Route finding on pitch 8 was a little confusing but once you've figured it out it makes sense. Overall a great day out. We did it as a party of 3, using twin ropes for the leader and two seconds climbing at once several meters apart. That saved some time. Not sure I'd want to rap off it as it looked like the rope may get caught in places, though I can't confirm this because we walked off the top and down the hiker's trail.

Difficult first pitch, but the second pitch was a lot of fun. Beautiful pink granite.

Good climb, though I'm not sure I'm ready to lead on natural.

Love this climb! Scoped it out on top rope with an eye to leading it soon.
