Ascents as Red point as trad by Paul Kinnane

Had my eye on this route for nearly 20 years, and finally got to jump on it!

Pretty short, but 2 good sequences on this route. Unsure on the correct beta for the second sequence, but didn't use the glued on blobby thing!

OK climbing, but the bolts protect the easy moves, and leave you run out at the crux, which didn't make much sense. Ended up using some average wires to fill the gap.

A pretty shaky ascent, almost blowing it at the big move after the crux. But got there in the end.

Ticked many moons ago.

Big, steep moves. Missed the on-sight a couple of years ago.

A great little climb. Previously top-roped a year or two ago.

Finally, revenge for getting blown off this 12 months ago. A 1 very un-16 move wonder

What a great climb. First pitch was a bit old-school for me, and I had a few moments. Second pitch was a bit nothing (maybe that's where it looses it's star), but the third pitch was a ripper - reminded me of Flying Buttress at Moonarie.

Got it clean after falling at the lower crux a few months ago. Top crux felt easier second time around. Hard for the grade.

Got it after falling off 12 months ago. Solid for the grade.

Finally got it after having a sit a month ago.

Solid move through the Tannin roof. An easy 20 tick if you've done Tannin before.

Very pumpy at the start with a committing finish on blown arms

I managed to drop all my wires about half way up! I was a bit nervous about lowering off, so kept going. Very scary.

Deserves more than one star
