Ascents by Ben Vincent having Distinct route

After watching Caz onsight this I got inspired. Really great moves and an awesome top section. Had a rest at about 2/3rds.

Got this on my third go after working the beta. A really enjoyable route.

Got up this second time round and even remembered my beta! loved these moves and even managed to get my first Coolum knee bar in.

Was pretty happy to get on this and tick it first thing this morning. This route just flows!

Really stoked to get this second go. Great moves in 3D climbing land.

Found this a little gripping and quite pumpy. Need some better endurance for this one.

A really enjoyable section. The blocky stemming compression was the highlight. Can't wait to see if this traverse can go further still!

A nice find by Al. He was all over It until a crucial foot went astray and turned a tight gaston into inspiration for the name of the climb.Under the rooflet I ended up heading left where Al went right. Scope for an alternate finish out right into M.E.T.ext. Nice and fingery with small feet.

Good fun. An easy one to keep throwing yourself at to try and get to the block a little easier than Thor's Traverse.

Really enjoyed this one. Techy feet and holds just when you need them.

A very cool route - and much cleaner now that Nick's climbed all over it Did all the moves but will need to milk the "rest" and undertake some endurance training to get through this clean.

Great route, and the only one to 'warm-up' on at The Sphynx. Had to work for the top section beta before getting the send.

Awesome climb. Got to the chip in the roof below chains and was (disappointingly) too pumped to pull through to the glory jug finish Will be back for this one!

Some solid and very sharp moves throughout bottom section.

Waihoo just keeps delivering. Had loads of fun on this climb and a few laughs to when I decided that a mantle was warranted before the crux....haha, that made things interesting. Awesome climbing.

An interesting route to get started on. Watch out for the deck, bro.

A nice techy first section followed by a jug haul made this a route full of fun, and the group favourite for the wall.

Wow, what a sick climb! I weighted and then avoided the creaky honeycomb in the roof that others have mentioned, and was at the anchors on my first attempt but couldn't clip....don't you hate that. A shake out and a much smoother second attempt was warranted anyway for such a sick climb!

Just classy really. Punchy from the start with pockets where you need them. Another favourite from the trip and a sure project for Timmy who swore his way up it.

An absolute grovel-fest! Great fun though. The jams are solid, getting out from under the roof proved to be the crux. Gear in the wrong place here will result in a deck bro! Bring gloves or tape, and don't pre-place your gear unless you're happy to be bagged out by Carol

A very cool and equally techy route. All the moves are there with some delicate feet placements to move through the two crux sections. And if none of it's working you can always cool off in the creek!

Brilliant route with a little cavelet to crawl into and enjoy the view. High reachy first bolt.
