Warm up

Rings to half way, then spaced fixed hangers. Great climbing high up! Anchors are well worn, maybe rap off to save them a little longer

Pitch one is sandbagged, prob 19-20. Cross the ledge to start pitch 2, which is an exciting traverse. Prob greater than 12 (14ish??). Third pitch is great position at 18

Climbed it twice. Great! Prob not the 22 it gets in the guide... 21

over rated. only gets traffic because the rest of the routes are trad or carrot bolted.

no bolts, but worth climbing, take 4 cams (.5 - #2 camalots)

rusted out bolts, the worst one is at the crux move. Just big crazy stuff, the young gym boys will clip the bolts without realizing their imminent death and love it.

awesome for the grade. exposed overhung climbing at the top for a 16! sweet. take 2 medium cams. one between 2nd and 3rd and one between 3rd and 4th to protect the top moves as well.

SPICY, 6 bolts in 27 meters with a fair bit of wind keeping me company! Not for the grade max leader, but very cool, missed the anchors as I moved a bit left, Found some old other anchors and a saxaphone frog at the top.

thought we were on dot com... so it felt pretty solid at 21... awkward but worth doing. funk in the corner

i appreciate the effort, but it's scary choss. hard to trust any of this rock. 17 plus death.

sloppy and awkward through the run out. i put a really really long sling for my second. a warm up for your mind if you're going to climb cave choss.

Great, possibly soft at 22 if you have good technique and foresight.

3rd time climbing this... wish there was another way

2nd time I climbed this. i don't know where those 9 FH are. The first bolt is a gamble as there is no way to ID it from the base. Then under some ferns??? walking around the fern ledge..... run it out 8m and the next bolt take a committing move off a moderate poor clipping hold. do not do this if 16 is your top grade. otherwise, enjoy the adventure. very worth doing for the climbing above! can link 1st and 2nd pitches with some long slings and balls

yeah!, no stars in the guide book so no one climbs this thing. Worthy and adventurous climbing, not a lick of chalk and good rock....past the loose block beyond first move (tricky but OK). Anchors run over some rough stuff at the top, rap off.

fun moves feels limestone esque. soft at the grade, plenty of good rests. likely a crag classic, great climb!

awkward sketchy ramp and low quality rock. kinda nice climbing at the end of the day.

long climb, gets wild at the top! need to see more traffic... with a helmet clad belayer

I think it was pokey. Up thin slab, using blocks on right, up slabby corner with flared V slots to tricky clip. Bounded right past the clip and thought i'd soon die, so found a marginal flake/block to sling and mantle up with no feet. Passing clip 2, it was clear i was NOT on Chook Run....

Tall stretch to grab knob off first ledge. Bolts are spaced. Rock is pretty solid. Looks like there is a SECOND PITCH with a bail biner about 4 bolts up. I'd love to try it next time.

the PDF guide calls it 7a, no way. But still a great climb up a compelling offwidth crack line (knee bars and jams possible, with plenty of face climbing) This popular crag is quickly getting polished.

friendly climbing to the top!

climbed it in conjunction with SF so a 7 year old from the guest house could top rope some stuff. Reachy throughout, wet choss at top

I should have READ THE ROUTE NAME! It could be ok if it wasn't gross. However less gross than the easy routes on the other side of the arch

clean, dry, bouldery, wonderful! Short to these anchors, so step left and link to the 6b above making an awesome climb!

great moves at the top. but whole bottom 2/3 is scuffy and pretty ehh.... not the hardest 7a i've ever tried, but not an easy one either.. sooo... yeah

be sure your warm up your digits first! a crimpy start and fingery all the way. great climb

good length of climbing at this wall, teaches you to not climb with your biceps or a tremendous burn will ensue.
