Routes in Asia for selected grade

Rightmost line on the main face. Confused with 'Les Petites Oreilles' in some guidebooks. Not rebolted with titanium. Stainless steel glue-ins.

Variation of 'Paradise' and Amphitheater, veers right towards the end to a higher anchor. Old slings. Be prepared to replace.

A worthy excursion. Good fun climbing in a nice location. Double-pitch, rebolted with titanium.

Climbs uo right of 'Back to Mani', all the way to the top of the pillar, sharing anchor with 'Money Maker'. No bolts, climb toprope.

Right of 'Monkey Gone to Heaven', sharing anchors. No bolts, toprope.

Climb 'Kum Jai', but then go left to the anchors of 'Khao Pat Gai'.

Left of 'Short and Easy'. No bolts. Climb on toprope.

Starts between the two caves a meter to the right of 'The Playground'. Share start with Mei Rue Arei. 5 slings. Has its own anchor.

Direct start from the cave or start as per 'Soley Action 1' or 'Humming Song' if it's too wet. Finishes on its own anchor a meter above and right of 'Soley Action 1'. 3 titanium bolts, 2 slings.

Start on 'Humming Song' and go left after the second clip. Follow the slings and bolts until the last bolt and join the anchor of 'Humming Song'.

There is a nice direct start clipping the first sling from the cave. If the sling is removed, consider doing the start as per 'Humming Song'.

Climb on the corner and goes straight to the anchor at the right of the tree. 3 titanium bolts, 3 slings. Share start with Scorpion.

Short line starting on tufas at the very left up the small hill. All titanium bolts.

The leftmost line, starting from the boulder. Tricky technical line. All titanium bolts. TI Anchor ring (2022)

Same start as Seesaw, up the black slab, take LEFT hand line to finish. Shares anchors with Seesaw.

Shares anchors with 'Zac Attack'. 5 titanium bolts, 2 slings.

Right of Send train. Boulder style start.

Left traversing route, really fun climbing, and friendly bolting.

The middle extension of either 'Round the Outside' or 'Chong Phli Posse'. Shares the start with 'Stone Rider' and Fin de Chalam, then straight up. 29m to the ground. 6 slings.

Short with a steep start. 5 titanium bolts.

2nd pitch after Steal your face, climbing up and right through the gulley, reaching right on small feet. Continue up to the top, over the tuffa roof and cruising through the juggy top section. Amazing view, access to mountain top possible. Climb "Steal your Face" and "Into the Mystic" in one go with an 80m rope.

The righthand line starting from the big ledge accessed by 'Hell in a Bucket'. Shares the first two clips with 'Imagine', then right along the blue threads. 25m from the ground. 8 slings.

Named after the Thai mythical character. On the left side of the sector when facing the rock (up the ramp/hill at the base of the sector).

Tufa, tufa, tufa up to first anchor on Banshee.

8 slings, anchor before roof.

60 meters rope is minimum. Tie a knot at the end of the rope.

Left of 'Natalie'. All slings. Appears to have a two sling extension.

Obvious line behind tufa curtains. The crux, which is well protected, is getting to the anchor. There are two easier second pitches which continue on from the top of this route. Maybe bring a bottle of water and do all three. The belay station for the second pitches is comfortable. All three routes, this one and the two vertically above it, are always in the shade and almost immune to rainfall.

Shares the first bold with The Fortress, then climb left. Big jugs and awesome moves up gentle overhang, followed by 3D tufa fun!

Tufa fun!

Up the ladder. Gives access to 'Vagabonds of the Western World' and 'Tangled up in Blue'.

Shares the start with 'Heartbreaker', then left towards the cave after the 4th clip and up on the inside of the pillar. Rejoins with 'Heartbreaker' after the 10th clip. 9 titanium bolts, 8 slings.

Climbs up on orange tufas, 3m right of 'Spanish Caravan'. Then slightly left to join 'Spanish Caravan' on the ledge about halfway. 8 titanium bolts, 10 slings.

Start right of tree. Jugs, tufas, so fun!

This is the easiest access route to Chill Out Ledge and Panorama Wall above.

Overhang start, then up tufa corner. Amazing classic!

2 pitches. Total 20 titanium bolts. 70m rope will make to ground on rope stretch. Put knots in ends.

Can climb as one long single pitch. There is mid way anchor if needed. Helmet for belayer recommended.

Easy Access: Park at very end of street. Walk upstairs into restaurant. Wave and smile at Thai owners. Pass a helicopter on right side, continue up more stairs, Pass small swimming pool on left. Leave concrete to dirt trail, head diagonally up slope only 20m to start of route. Approach time 2 min.

Belay from the lower ledge.

Joob Joob is a fantastic moderate 6b adventure above the sea. Pronounced “joop joop” with lips pursed tight as if to give a kiss, it literally translates to “kiss kiss”.

Highlights of the climb include fun stalactite stemming, comfortable belay ledges, and an overhung hero tufa at the very top. Nearly every single piece of protection is a titanium bolt, except for only a few slung tufas (bomber provided the sling is in good shape).

Pitch 1 is basically an upgraded and extended version of an old single pitch called, 'Ao Nang! Ao Nang!'. It was cleaned up and rebolted with proper equipment to reach the awesome climbing on P2 and P3. There are still some remnant steel bolts that should be avoided. Always use the U style bolts that have red glue.

1. 6a, 32m, 12 bolts, 2 slings. Follow mostly easy terrain straight up and slightly right over rock of varying quality. Belay at a cozy ledge next to a massive black stalactite.

2. 6a+, 18m, 5 bolts, 1 sling. Either launch straight up from the anchor (reachy) or climb around right and step back left (easier). Then follow great stalactite stemming up the chute. Belay at another ledge near a hanging column.

3. 6b, 34m, 15 bolts, 3 slings. This is where the goods get great! Easily climb the hanging columns like a spiral staircase. Then, tackle multiple small cruxes before and after good rests on beautiful orange rock. The final overhung tufa to the anchor is the cherry on top of this stellar pitch. Once you reach the anchor, it’s best to have your partner lower you back down to the ledge and belay them from there.

Required:

18 draws and 70m rope.

Descent:

Lower one another back to the P2 ledge. Then two raps put you back onto the ledge above the water. Bonus points for keeping your rope out of the sea by clipping a stand into the leaver carabiner on P1.

Right side route. Starts on bulging corner with jugs, and finish up nice crimp face to Anchor.

Share start with 1st pitch of Gladiator. Share anchor with 1st pitch of Pai Noon Mai.

Staying on the spine without straying right makes it 6b+. Share anchor with 2nd pitch of So so sooo...people come and people go!.

Can be climbed as one pitch. Dedicated to Ingemar Isaksson. RIP. 2nd pitch share anchor with Andrea's Spineline.

P1 4 bolts, 5 threads, 24m. P2 6 bolts, 4 threads, 27m.

2 bolts, 7 threads. Starts from anchor of Stirfried Water P1.

7 bolts, 5 threads. Starts from anchor of 42 Square Feet.

A 1 bolt, 3 thread variation ending to Kiss the Serpent. Go straight after 7th clip on that route. 11 clips in total.

2nd pitch share anchor with Monsun. share 1st and 2nd pitches with Naitaa-Ling, share 1st pitch with Kaam-Ling.

Share start with Monkey Way and Never Stop Exploring.

Start on 2 crimps on the overhanging arete. All hard moves in first 3 meters on very sharp rock, then easy climb to the top for an easy jump in the water

Scramble up to the big ledge. Route is in the small chimney-esque corner about 3m right from Som Tum Pah. There are belay bolts available directly under the route, please use them to belay from the small incut ledge directly under the route.

A little crimpy fun action.

Same anchor as '8c+' .

Looks harder than it actually is! Very fun crimpy climb. Clipping the anchor is a little intimidating as you have to reach over this crevice.

Abseil Descent on Corcovado on Left side of Wall.

An awesome 4 pitch route, can make it 5 pitches if you start on 'Prik' or 'Prik Thai' and travers left from the anchor 1 bolt and then reach the start of the multi pitch anchor.

1. (6a) 35m. A bit of a dirty start leads up to otherwise very good rock on less-than-vertical terrain. The climbing, while easy, is varied and interesting. The rock quality is very high in the middle to upper section and can take both nuts and cam well. This pitch very well can be used to teach gear placement for new trad leaders.

2. (5c) 15m. A short pitch but still interesting. Low-angle climbing on good rock (still take gear in medium size well) into a cruxy bulge right before reaching the belay at a huge cave. P1 and P2 definitely can be combined with good gear management.

3. (6b) 20m. The crux pitch with a dicey opening move after the first bolt on Tufa into a good stance. Don't blow it. The rest of the pitch is slightly overhanging jug hauling on good flakes. Pure fun. 2 belays on a small ledge or medium ledge are available so take your pick.

4. (5a) 15m. Sharp and not-so-fun climbing (just like the rest of last pitch of MP on khao chin lae) to reach the summit.

Descent - Rappel the route.

Rap 1 - 35m rappel from the summit will take you down to the start of P3. Make sure to knot the end and back clip so you can back to the belay

Rap 2 - 15m rappel from the cave to the start of P2

Rap 3 - 35m rappel with rope stretch gets you back to the ground

First route at Sukhumvit Wall which was climbed ground up on trad then rap-bolted later.

Only recommend if you're very well solid at the grade. Stick-clipping the 2nd bolt is recommended if you're pushing this grade and don't want to risk hitting the deck.
