Amazing pitches 2 and 3. Something to come back to to do it in a better style

First pitch climbed almost clean, but second pitch had to pull on draws and sit on the rope a f.g lot. Great adventure though and beautiful exposure!

Climbed the Death Row and put the top rope on this climb. Had a bit of play. Amazing sequences. Difficult pro in the beginning to do it on lead.

What a fight! Almost gave up on the chimney-like section, thanks to the belayer who encouraged me to push through. Having 3-ple rack of 0.4 to #1 cams did help. And used 2 of #3 at the end.

easy-ish start with a very technical traverse and couple of moves across the bulge until you get back to the crack

top roped it about 5 or 6 times in the beginning because i had to but eventually started to like it and got all moves and rests etc. one crux move still abit stretchy for me

Found it much easier than Child in Time although it is the same grade. Need to try to lead next time

Really hard start, the corner is the best part of the climb, the rest is all over the place.

Sustained laybacking and tricky stemming. At the top can switch to chimney-ish technique(like ramadan) and then easy jamming. maybe can lead it one day

Got better comparing to the last year attempt. First pitch still has a hard layback sequence before launching to traverse which is still a bit wet. The traverse is techy and pumpy. Second pitch felt much easier, it is quite cruisy if you know which way to turn

What a battle! Could not jam for the first 15ish meters because too wide for my hands. Had to shuffle #4 because was told I would need it at the top. Full on offwidth technique took a lot from me so I wanted to bail at least twice. Glad took 4 number #3. After the crack becomes smaller it is really pleasant. Put #0.75 before laybacking across the roof and don't think you need more to protect this move. However, could not find any good gear after the roof. Slinged a bush and put some dodgy cam but don't think It would take a fall probably next time try to find some nut placement or take #5 or #6 and carry it all the way to the top? Would like to od it in better style next time.

Was just happy to get to the climb in the first place All exhilarated and full of adrenaline. Struggling with winds and bleeding fingers was able to get to the top (somehow). I was too overwhelmed with the pole position and tired after whole journey. Lots of unusual laybacking, smearing, toe and heel hooking and arete hugging. There are not many places where you can practise this. Definitely very serious undertaking.

finally got clean ascend on top rope, did not even get pumped. Going for a lead attempt next time.

One distinct technical crux around the python the rest is easy for the grade. Found the gear placements next couple of meters after the python are a bit fiddly, not obvious nuts difficult to see behind the chalkstones

Great hand jambs at the start but crack narrows down to finger locks or laybacks which makes it more strenuous. Found the face climbing part (before the mantle) quite committing and runout. Great jams again right before the top.

What an amazing climb! I could do it every day if not the tricky start (bouldery free solo) to the first ledge. Next is a bit of a thought provoking move just a couple of meters above the ledge and after that cruisy double jamming almost to the end of the climb. Could be as good as Infinity if not the start.

My favourite 19 in the mountains. Such an amazing climb with a big variety of different styles. Good gear. Got scared in anticipation of a difficult climbing while placing first 3 pierces of gear and asked to lower. After I put myself together did it clear at second attempt.

Great climb! Tricky traverse but it is not the crux. Delicate moves after you passed the roof and not much good gear after you placed 2 good pieces after the roof. Tope roped it about 2 years ago but could not remember a thing so it was like an onsight for me

The gear is not easy on onsight and couple of committing moves above the gear. Nice sequence between two cruxes.

Quite bouldery start with some smaller/tricky gear, the rest is cruisy. Lots of slinging horns, cranking on the jugs and fun tiny traverse.

Seconded it several times before but only now decided to give it a go on lead and it felt good! Nice moves, good rests and gear is everywhere.

Did it clean from the first go but can't call it onsight because got beta on how to negotiate the crux from my friend. Amazing climb! There is a bit of a right sequence to get out of the box. The next bulge is much easier. Great pro and there is a sling on the top you can belay and rap down from.

Finally got balls to lead it and it felt really easy, don't know why i was scared last year while top roping. Probably got better in offwidth climbing. very classic but easy offwidth with chicken wing and left foot jam, good warm up before Janicepts

I would give it 4 stars if it was not be one type of move (left side on the wall pushing the back chimney stile, one hand in the crack, one pushing against the wall) almost all the way till the last 10 meters where it is bridging. after this kind of marathon you are getting the technique really well. very physical

Was very hesitant to lead this one because of the notorious "runout slab" at the top. After practicing more slab climbing at Winning streaks I got a proper headgame and the slab at the top of Harlequin felt quite cruisy and not really runout anymore

I was in the onsight mood and even passing the roof went cruisy. Apparently the crux, but it was not. The crux is the bulging crack above the roof. Got pumped going up and down trying to figure out the sequence and set on the gear. BTW we gear on the route is amazing. A bit tricky but not physical sequence involves jamming and smearing until you get good feet. And it is easy again after that. Sad I did not do it clean but it takes some time to get used to smearing on Organ Pipes dolerite.

Seconded it a year or two ago but not remembered anything except I was completely terrified in the chimney/offwidth. This time doing it on lead I was completely relaxed and feeling absolutely great in there. Probably this part is much comfortable if you lead it.

One of my favs in Arapiles. Will be projecting to try to lead it next time i'm in Araps

all times classic. Great fun. For the pitch3 crack I have overcammed #6 in the very beginning and could not get it out so had to run out to the anchor. Had to use #5 first and #6 later, closer to the anchor.

Oops I did it again, still on second but no pulling on gear this time and no feet stuck badly anymore. Still hard and still the best multi at this grade in Australia.

The highest quality crack climbing I've ever had in my life. the must do if you love crack climbing. great gear and rock.
