Ascents as Flash as sport by Joe Gordon

Cool climbing for 2-3 metres. Pretty hard for 18 I think. Dumb lower off section. I kind of down climbed to take the draws off.

Lots of fun. A day of good onsights from Rose.

Solid crux move for 13. Deserves 14/15 imo.

First time on the second pitch. Mega. Both pitches in one. Did clean on top rope afterwards too to clean.

Hard fight. Thought it was 22 so probably tried a bit harder.

Quite cryptic in a few sections for me.

Hard to flow. Climbed slowly and thoughtfully. No hard pulling but pretty awkward route reading.

Did the left variation too which is rad fun. I thought it was going to be tricky on the descent looking it over, but turned out to be not bad at all. Worth doing. Despite only 1 new bolt it adds a fair few different moves. My favourite route in this section. Soft for 20 for sure.

Uber pumped.

Superb. Hard 21 for sure.

Fun day of climbing. All these routes are worth doing and are mostly sustained for the grade!

Wow. Consistent and fun jug hauling. Surprisingly didn’t get too pumped.

Link up worth doing. Makes the crux of deerstalker feel much harder.

Epic start.

Brutal. Then to perhaps the easiest climbing on the wall.

If you pick the right holds, it is not choosy at all! But be warned there are some crumblers about. Some good old fashioned crimping required. Solid at the grade and a tough onsight with no chalk or obvious holds guiding the way.

Amazing and varied climbing. Might be 22.

Fantastic boulder problem at the bottom that I had all the beta for. And then pretty easy grade 19ish climbing to the top with 2 fun mantles. I think 23 is a more apt grade.

No hard moves just a little exposed and wandery.

Very hard crux for the grade I found. Seems 3 grades harder than the 16s next door and perhaps that one move is harder than anything on Fibromajestic (19). Or again, my beta could be off.

Had the pleasure of seeing the beta for the crux. Definitely would not have got the onsight!

More pumpy jugs fun.

Would happily do all the climbs here again and again, bar this one.

Didn’t have time to try the upper part. Next time.

After watching many people try this I was surprised by how easily I reached the roof and how much I struggled getting past it. Be nice to do this again a little smoother.

Happy with the flash on this. Hard move to establish yourself on the overhang. Loads of bolts!

Terrible bolting. Fun climb.

Top roped my brother, who doesn’t climb, before I led this, and he sent it cleanly! Must be soft.
