Great fun swinging off jugs

Nice climbing. Each pitch offers something interesting.

Enjoyable climbing, then you reach the crux where the real fun begins. I’m pretty sure grunting like an animal while pulling the roof helps to make a clean send hey Steve.

Looks easy but don’t be fooled. The traverse, can be tricky, was happy to get some gear placed once I reached the final crack.

Lead P1 takes great gear, solid moves start of P2 from ledge.

Desperate start for a short arse! Couldn’t reach good edge and ended up pulling on a tiny two finger pocket to reach good holds. Sent on 3rd go.

Quality climb and takes good gear

First half of the climb has great rock and climbs well. The second half of the crack is fused lacking pro, so cut left onto face to finish. Rate first half as very good, the rest is average.

Solid grade 16

Worked the moves at the crux and found a much easier sequence

First time climbing an off width crack, physically draining, need some tech tips. Overhang at the top climbs really well.

Rough crack first few meters then gets better, tape helps. Poor rock / pro for 1-2m over RH traverse under bulge, yet on easier ground. Couple big cams would of been handy for last section, but only had one BD #3 so ran it out. Saves the best till last with a cool layback before moving into the off width to finish.

Takes solid gear in crack just below crux. Hard section pulling into and through alcove, leading to some awesome jams.

Tricky sequence at start of climb with a slightly desperate finish. Recommend placing a sml/med cam to protect top-out.

Good lead by Fraser. It has some cool stemming and back-step moves.

Hard! Tough section at thin finger crack near top. Needs a good clean at crux to remove grass, dirt and a small dead tree that is just holding on.

Spicy! If lacking confidence/ability recommend stick clipping the first hanger, which is about 5m off the deck. All the fun is in the first 8m then eases off. Nice climb and worth a visit.

One of better climbs at Mt Pilot for beginners, offering easy access, quality rock and great views.

Rock quality poor at base of climb, but improves at half way point. Many holds missing and a few more broke off during attempt making it much harder (grade now approx 24ish...?)

Nice climb, worth getting on. Protects well with small to medium cams. Can clip anchor 1m right of climb once for an easy lower off or potential top rope. Grade change to 15.

Highly recommend this climb. Many interesting sections throughout both pitches offering a lot of variety.

Wish it was longer. Definitely has had some traffic, pretty polished.

Challenging for the grade if you miss-read the crux down low.

Last few meters will put a smile on your face.
