Ascents as Tick as trad by David Gibbs

Test climb on TR.

This gets a top-rope thrown on it a lot, and has gotten polished and far less enjoyable than it was.

Went to the other anchor, to clean.

Went up to teach anchor cleaning.

Followed P1 clean, lead P2 clean, tried a poor choice for hard variation at end of P3 and fell. Oh well.

Good timing for starting the route, though, as it started to rain just as we were starting to walk off.

Went down it & up it - should I log it twice?

Fun climbing, but with a clear single crux section of about 3-5 moves about 2/3 of the way up.

Switched to the anchor farther right, then climbed about 3m right Silk Panties -- still felt about the same grade.

Being wet made it a bit more interesting.

TR to setup TR on Mixed Feelings.

TR to clean anchor.

Had to run up it to set up a rope to rescue Kristine from a lowering jammed rope on TnA.

The wet slab at the start made it a bit more interesting.

To clean the anchor -- so climbed way left & up the arrete for variety.

Glad there is a rope on it. Would be fine without rope if unencumbered, but with a pack on, the rope is nice to have.

Was wet at the bottom so TRed it.

Climbed it demonstrating technique - hand and foot jams.

Direct start, over the initial roofs. Probably about 5.6.

Tope rope clean -- happy with that. Need to think about leading it...

I need to lead this.

Was climbing Peggy, but climbed this in sections with re-directs and lowers-in to figure out how it went, and how hard. I think, with a couple re-directs, this could be a fun top-rope off the Peggy anchors. Leading it... hm... after a couple more rehearsals, I think.

Partner found a variant of the 5.9 variant start -- going up a thin crack/seam about 2m right of it for about 2/3 of the first pitch. I lead pitch 2 (5.6) and half of pitch 3 (5.7).
