Sustained pumpy climbing until Crux. Then cruising up to anchor. Third climb of the grade 🤙

Warm-up on nice holes.

As usual for me at that grade a bit desperate. Slippery start on tufas, followed by two bulges that must be overcome and an easy but not obvious finish.

Twisty sequence in the lower part. Crux is getting over the bulge on a short sequence of mediocre holds. Quite nice.

Partner's first proper 6c (2nd go).

What a mega line! Just one toprope lap to get a feel for the climb and the area. Nothing can ever go completely right, so of course I spent the first 20 min rebelaying and rapping an extra 5m down choss so I could shake a bunch of dead trees to release my stuck rope.

I would say that the climb was a bit cryptic at first in some places, but that's probably more of a personal experience for me as someone who's shit at arete climbing. It was very very fun though, and kept pulling my attention to my feet and body position all through the arete. All I need to do now is drag someone else in to climb it with me

Too good to not redo - especially on a chill day after Jungle Juice

Spicy start, then cruisey middle section. Sharp edges so tough fingers needed, otherwise a chill climb. Victory whip for extra juice

Enjoyed this so much! It's just an absorbing climb from the moment you leave the ground. It just keeps going, and continues delivering some great sequences to keep you engaged with a couple outrageous moves thrown in the mix. Definitely one of my favourite 23s in the mountains.

Really stoked on this, I forgot how fun this climb is! Always nice coming back to a climb after a while and seeing how much better it feels. This climb just seemed impossible for me when I first tried it, I pumped out so quickly and couldn't get the moves at the top of the elevator doors. This time the moves all went when I warmed up on it, and it all held together for the send go.
