Above the lower crux I wished I still had a red and yellow C4. All gear I could find was a cam behind a flake and a tricam in a very parallel crack. So I downclimbed, fetched some gear placed lower on the climb, and got it onsite.

Bruno Alves Buzatto , I checked your logbook to look for the climb where you took a whipper on the green C4 - that must have been quite a drop!
I had to take several rests on this, the most comical one being after placing a micro nut on the lower gearless section my tape glove's finger loop got caught in the quickdraw - very scary. |

For me pitch 4 was one of the best pitches at the grade - an absolute classic. It's quite overhanging and pumpy, it could be an 18, but it is very juggy.

We got a bit lost on the route. We climbed up a crack above the first comfortable ledge and traversed left over smooth ramp. It was pretty good. We climbed up too high from this point before traversing left and the climb may be better if we went left lower. The 4th pitch (grade 7) was not worth it, it may be possible to abseil of a tree before it.

I'm not sure about pitch 2. All the rock is grey and orange and nothing looks like an obvious slab. What I did was:
There may be more interesting climbing by traversing left at the dassie cave. It is possible that the real 2nd pitch starts further to the left. |

The first overhang is scary and not too well protected (I used a tiny cam in the chossy rail). The climbing is easy though.
I went right around corner 2m above the sharp foot rail on a bigger ledge. The foot rail looked dicey and at the time I thought that maybe there is another foot rail a little higher. I will go back to try the correct way to see which is best. At the top I traversed left below overhangs to a tree because I couldn't remember the description. It was good climbing but the rope drag was heavy at this time. |
