Three goes today. Best go getting foot to the stal, but failing to sink the knee in.

Got on this specifically to get punished, and that did happen. However I will say that I think a key hold has crumbled away affecting the crux sequence. It's the inset, circular crimp up and right of the potatoes. The heavily manufactured holds on this route really need glue to stabilise them.

Kind of mega, up and through the largest overhang. Bolt to bolt. Hard crux at the lip.

The ill-fated wasp sting route. Put the gear on and was preparing to lower and got stung in the face. Huge full body allergic reaction, bailed for medical attention. Still need to go get the gear off - that'll be exciting! May need Epipen instead of brush on chalkbag. 7c R/X

First time back here in forever. Bolt to bolt, all moves done (except watching a video later seems we climbed around the crux?). Two tries today.

Nearly sent second shot, then did two more worse goes, powered down. [4]

2nd try came off the last move. Fun.

Overnight rain and drizzle in the morning. No wind. 85% humidity. Burn 1 shaky to ledge, fell on crux 2, then climbed from the bolt to the top clean in the worst conditions. Almost as proud of this effort as a clean send. - Burn 2 more confident. Fell crux 2, then for some reason my boots just started visibly sliding off the holds [17]

Hot, 15-17C and 65%. Zero breeze. 2x TR burns both with 1 fall at crux #2. Very good considering conditions. [15]

Mega. Techy and powerful in an old school style, and I didn't do one of the moves. If they said it was 30 that would seem fair to me.

First time back on after 17 years. A bit of an exploration following Duncan's funeral to feel that connection again and consider if I want to commit further. [11]

Had a good second go and nearly pulled it out of the bag, falling off the upper crimp crux. Game on.

Tried to jog up this in sneakers but couldn't clip the 3rd. Apart from that, a fun smearing challenge.

Tough and confusing. 1 fall. Was happy not to split a tip.

To the crux on the flash, then pretty baffled, crazy holds - how do they even stay on the wall? Completely epic tufa up top to finish.

Nope! Not today. Good aggressive climbing with tricky clips. Felt at least 7c+ to me, but perhaps it would feel better in non-smeg conditions.

Fluffed the OS trying the heelhook method for the crux.

3 moves from glory, better than expected. Not enough kneebar aids to get me up this one at the moment. Awesome route to get fit on.

Fell high up on the onsight (with no warm up - sun coming) just before gaining the monster tufa. Huge 10-15m whipper.

To the baby's skull, didn't crush it.

Crushed the skull, came off hucking to the brick.

A brutal boulder leaving the 7a+, reminiscent of the Tiger Snatch crux -- a significant step up from anything I've tried in a long while. Left the gear on. Lowered off after 7pm.

Quite good onsight try. Fell going out left, up high.

Good onsight try. Fell at around second last bolt.

Punks shot #2. Hot, face melting. Was mostly keen to experience the top section. Climbed clean to below the heel move, pulled through. Climbed from the rest and stuck the drive-by, couldn't stand up, then pulled through. Did the rest of moves, not nicely, with screaming skin. Then drive 11 hours home!

1.5 hours dogging around, experiencing a piece of climbing history. Did all moves up to and including the birdbath drive-by. Struggled after, didn't really get stood up. Also struggled on the lower heel move, kinda managed it once. Toasted by the time I lowered off. A 20+ year dream to get on this route.

Two shots, didn't do it.
