Ascents in Oceania as trad by Adam

First pitch excellent. The rest not bad either. Awesome exposure and a pretty cool adventure. We stuffed up the end. Finished 4th pitch in the gully and had to go up on some dirty and suspect rock to top out. Still, a climb well worth the effort. (My last climb in Australia... )

Some cool moves. One cam placement down low, then carrots the rest of the way.

My 7th (and last) trip up this great line. This time as a night adventure. Pretty cool...

Very good. Pitch one is gold. Pitch two a bit less so... I'm not much of a trad climber, so it felt solid. Very exposed climbing on natural gear with enough bolts to keep it safe. If you are not topping out don't bother with pitch 3...

As belay bunny for a mate... Very easy but very cool climbing...

The start was ok. Committing move off the deck. Gear placement was fine too. Up the slab to steepness and then the choss begins. I broke a hold and fell off. Continued up bolt to bolt. Crappy (and a bit scary) climbing... Stay away...

Blew my on sight at second bolt... Shame... Great climbing. Did the cave up and down, then lowered off the last bolt. (and... it's a sport climb. A bit run out but...

My fifth lap... This time, in approach shoes...

The final crack coming out of the cave is awesome!

Very delicate and balancy climbing. All the way... Only three gear placements plus some carrots on P2.

Simply beautiful climbing! (didn't know about missing bolt. My partner had to toss the cam up to me...)

Direct start. Took me two attempts to get it (first go ended with a jump off from about 1 meter. No onsight I guess...). Quite hard but really cool move. Enjoyable climbing higher up. Good run outs too...

Sport climb on some 'interesting', ancient bolts... Pretty cool.

Why trad? few old bolts lead the way. Interesting finish if you go straight up after the last one of them.

Great climb. It was a bit stressful to do it solo... (Especially the off-width section, with lots of loose rope dangling below my feet...)

It was great to have it all to myself! My first lead solo 18.

Surprisingly good! A bit dirty but fun climbing. Lower off is few meters up after the difficulties, hidden from view..

My printout was stuffed... I thought I was on ECOT... Only got to the jug (and fell without even clipping the bolt there...). I had to leave my prusik on a FH to lower off. Sorry... (I liked the start though...)
