Good to come back 5 years after I got dragged up it and drag cam up it instead, hopefully he'll come back sometime too.

Good warm up and a nice way to get accustomed to the higher friction slab climbing style that's common at Mount Buffalo

If you were looking to take a beginner on a manageable adventure on the Plateau, then this would be a good place to start. Not a bad place to start exploring this cliff, but hot in the afternoon sun.

Very very hot in the late afternoon sun, but made bearable by having beers on top and watching the Bogong moths come out and seeing the sun set over the Horn

A great way to finish the day. Cool in the shade. Gums in flower. Great views.

Would have felt less spicy if I had remembered the bolt plates. Ol’ Nut lasso saves the day again

Thrutchy start to the arete using the off-width. It might be better as a bridging exercise to the second bolt, but I couldn't get out there to do it.

The first time I led this there was no bolt on the top headwall and it was a real "Buffalo" experience. Now much easier on the head with the added bolt.

Very nice. It is a long long time since I first did this route and it appears to have gotten better.

Wild adventure slab climbing. Simul climbed the first 4 pitches, then swung leads for the next few pitches, then simul climbed the last pitch.

Money pitch was about pitch 6 or 7 which was leading the mega long white run out (about 15 metres between bolts at times) slab. Pitch descriptions were a bit off so slowed us down but cool experience nonetheless

Wish I'd had a wire brush to clean up the first 25m But the moss definitely added to the atmosphere when I was manifesting gear and holds in the shallow crack off the airy belay

Woah, what a wild route. This almost felt scarier on belay than leading, insane being on a hanging belay above the gorge, so much air! Even more insane is then climbing on this magnificent piece of the wall, with big lay back moves and scary slab. Type 2 fun through and through.

Hardest lead at Buffalo yet and one of the sickest finger cracks I've ever experienced. Doesn't let up until the very last move! So wild out here and I love it!

What a sick and truly majestic route. Was spat off on the crux on the first pitch, nice little slab fall which went well. I love it here. Lead all pitches with ev on second duty

The money pitch was amazing and sustained slabbing for the grade. I loved the bolt spacing too, just enough run-out to keep it engaging and also provide you with that sigh of relief at every bolt. A great day out. My feet are toast though.

Fairly good climbing to access TCOMC. First pitch has a lot of excoriating edges. Everything felt reasonably protected. The 2nd pitch was my favourite. Only did the first 6 pitches.

Everything I wanted. So unique! I loved the mellow slab run-outs and long pitches (did it in 4). Rapped down the waterfall too which was so amazing in the heat. Though I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you have two 70m ropes. We reached the knots on each rap 5m above the next belay/ground. Made it all the more exciting. To top it off the ropes.got stuck at the base of the falls and I had to swim through them to retrieve them. It was an exhilarating day. Glad to have shared it with Ryder.

Simul climbed most of it. 2:30 car to car. 1hr 40 on the route. Great mission in a tight timeframe.

Good adventure. Few captivating movements, though Ryder did do a dyno 15m above his gear to jump rightward back onto the route instead of downclimbing - easily the craziest thing I've ever seen someone do on a slab

Awesome day out. 6 hours car to car with a 30min detour of misdirection on the top out. I'd leave the #5 at home next time and have triple #2, #3, #4's. Had wires and micros but didn't need them.

Also on the 70m rope running the 1st pitch to the start of the leftward slab traverse would mean two pitches to the top of the off width. That's the plan next time.

Hard. All three of us found it pretty near onsight limits. Excellent.

I’d be pumping out and hesitating on every move if I was on lead
