I was trying an alternate start, bridging across by the first bolt and also layback the corner. It didnt work for me this time. The route actually goes up in the corner-there were some blocks there to start from but they have been removed.

A followup effort on top rope after dogging on lead, lowering to base of rail, and firing that section again clean. Decided to toprope the whole thing. Much sitting on rope ensued. Then lowered back to ledge of procrastination and slugged through the rail and up to the top again. Far too much mileage on pumpy stuff

Traverse was clean, put an extra piece in for the lower down. Some black mould and wet bits on the climb up and across. 4 20 Sport lead by Eric Horn When I started this I was worried I was done for the day, hands cramping up and unable to open fingers without forcing them against the rock. Fantastic route. First pitch starts with a awkward section, then some really cool moves. Especially enjoyed the face near the top. Second pitch is amazing. Some really cool moves from the start with a really wild sequence to a horn feature.

Classic Yosemite style 5.9+ a.k.a. 17+ / very hard for the grade. Had two B.D. #3's & #4's (Blue / Grey), just safe enough with those. The slab / mantle move near the top was a bit spicy in the full sun, with worsening friction. Alice had a great trash (top-rope flash) ascent up to the tree near the top.

Bridged between the two cracks. Massive calf pump. 8m run out to start without big cams,no big deal. Bomber #0.75 and #1 (green & red B.D. cams) inside the crack on the left. Partner and two friends top-roped it after. Great line.
