Ascents in World as Hang dog by Brendon Flanagan

The run out between to the last bolt freaked me out a bit.

Gassed out at the last draw trying to figure the sequence. Excellent technical moves.

Couldn't get the final move!

Not my style of climbing. Felt like a 4am drunk walking down the street trying to eat a kabab...all over the place!

Crux got me but I got it in the end. A nice alpine style climb with some very good moves in the corner up top.

Another hang dog effort. Can't figure out the sequence at the crux so hauled on the draw (again). Brilliant climb.

Found this more difficult than the registered grade. Had to haul on the 2nd draw to get through. Can someone confirm if there have been any holds broken on this route recently? The second half was quite fun on some amazing holds.

Covid has made me loose my strength. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! Amazing balancy move two moves before the anchor!

Not sure how this was graded a 14. Sandbag.

A little stiff for the grade but some good fun moves in it.

A corner start with a little footwork followed by a fun traverse and a committing head wall. A think the grades a little weak for such a strong climb.

Top roped this route a few times with today being my first attempt on lead. Finished it but not clean. A work in progress!

Need to figure out how to get through the crux. Sloper city!

Troubles with pulling the rope down after the second abseil. Wasn't the join knot for the two ropes getting stuck as serious rope drag was still in place when the join reached us at the base. Led pitch's 1 and 2. Walked out from top of pitch 2 due to failing light.

First two thirds of the climb as the seconder was really fun. High balling on top rope! Still needed the cam to pull on to top out.

Easy start with a dedicated crack climb of several moves. Got my left foot stuck during a jam which was hard to remove. The second half of the climb was fun with the lower offs being quite high up if you're a short person. Repeat required!

Start was balancy with a few good pockets and ledges before getting to the bones of the climb and finding out that the move to the final legde didn't agree with me. Looked left and found a more appealing variant. Toes on the iron stone ledges and use all the awaiting holds. Had to climb further to the right by one move before being able to traverse across to the anchors. Variant route=AWESOMNESS!

Some sharp edges for your fingers to find during the start. Clipping the third bolt is tricky however trending right pre clip is the way to do it. Slabby mantle to get through before using the DRB up left to lower off.

A great climb especially at the crux once you figure out the moves.

A fun climb with a heel hook or two when climbing the wave. The ledges above are super bomber and get better the further right and higher you go. One to climb if you get the chance!

Got up to the ledge and then couldn't figure out where to go (while tightly holding the flat undercling). Bailed.

Quite the good route. Got pumped out at the start by trending left when I should've trended right which spent me after I finished the crux. Certainly well worth the send.

WOW! I loved the final few moves on this climb. Sadly I had to hangdog it so I could chalk up my left hand for the sloper hold (a very humid day).

An amazing bouldery start before the first clip which really made this climb for me.

Thank goodness I'm tall as I needed the height to see me through the crux.

My favorite climb at this crag. A great dynamic crux move.

The first pitch was brilliant with some finger jamming and laybacking than was accompanied with some committing vertical smearing. The second pitch was long and I mean long but only because it's slab and it took me much longer to send it. I had to rest off on one of this pitches draws so i could take my shoes off and give my toes a serious relief moment. Third pitch was quite a fun one with a little thinking and a small amount of commitment.

Belay established towards the top of the grey slab. Got stuck at the crux due to no cam size that would fit the crack. Desperately placed nut in horizontal break but didn't hold.

Not a good climb for the end of the day. The slight overhang is just enough to fail on the final move. next time darn you!

I can reach the first bolt safely if i stand on the stump but that'd defeat the purpose of climbing right? This climb still remains a project.

Excellent holds all the way up it's just a matter of committing to the moves to get to them (and find them). This climb gets the old heart thumping!

My second shot at this project but I burnt out after shooting for the anchors. Was searching for holds above the overhang but didn't find them fast enough. Need to remember the left hand goes up to the high small ledge. Beta for next time when I return in 12 months.

Ran out of large cams as this route calls for them.

Leading direct to the carrot is harder that the identified grade. I give it an 18. Excellent climb none the less!

Love this climb! SOLID holds all the way through with a few you need to reach out and high for. The left anchor bolt in my opinion should be on the other side of the right hand anchor bolt. Extremely difficult to clip when using the final hold.

Hard start for the grade with a few sharp edges for the fingers. Once at the nose it's all smooth sailing.
