Epiced off Saw the storm coming The top rope was up Had to rescue the gear got to the flake and it started hailing got above the flake and I couldn't remove a nut looked at jaime belaying getting pelted by hail got lowered off from there to hide in a cave to dry off for a few hours

Jaime sandbagged me on this haha could clearly see the bottom of the crack seeping he reassured me the top would be dry ended up soaked covered in moss my crack gloves won't be the same

Awesome morning Got the red point Brutal warm up on the fingers Fell first attempt on the tiny finger jam crimp not enough warm up 2nd burn got the send

First try on this Brutal side pull sequence have to find some beta that works Will need alot of work dialling in the moves then gear beta

Was happy to get the job done first up this morning

Great line Sam gave me some epic beta for the top crux

Donno about this one great movement awesome route but that block at the roof seems touch and Go for coming off really hollow sounding enter at your own risk

After forgetting the lay back moves before the crux got that dialled pulled the gear had a rest and then this this burn went very smoothly the gold offset nut before the run out is bomber/ bolt worthy

Got the send But really cooked the start traverse left the good nut on the ground so ran out the traverse then grabbed the horn with the wrong hand to do a hard match which really set me up for a total pump feast on the jams above which should of been enjoyable haha

Wish the finger crack went for longer

Been a over looked route for a few seasons because of the offwidth but its quite a nice route i wouldnt place big gear in offwidth again better using nuts in left crack

Quick solo up caves route to show jiame the caves He pretty much did the whole thing in hut booties must be a Spanish thing

We did it in two pitches sam lead the first rope stretcher at 60m to the big thread and jiame did his first multi at tibro n did 2nd pitch

We used double rope so you can protect the back of the chimney with one rope n use the other for pitons worked great n goes fast in a 3

Class route 100% did a FA on the final pitch needed to have a chainsaw to send haha

All in all went pretty smooth till the last pitch easy best 17 I've done swimming up the crack Offwidth on pitch 4 wish it stayed hand size

I took up so much big stuff

2 x 5 1 x 6 And even found a proper placement for my blue big bro Mainly walked the 5s up

Also if anyone dropped a 1.5 L nalgene in the crack I spend more time fishing that and bending a nut tool then I've ever spend on a cam removal certified bomber should of left in as a bomber chock stone

Quite hard for the grade

2nd sam up after this onsight attempt this climb feel very doable had 3 rests near the top getting my hands switched around abitbof beta refinement

While the rope was up on DMEG had a top rope burn and worked out the moves still donnonif pillar is in or not but without it I donno how it gets the grade

Was a full blown send train day Happy to get the tick on a classic line 3 stars

Even got my pregnant wife carla to the crag for send support (she claims the walk out was harder then the climb)

Tough start 2nd up after Sam read the starting lay back wrong and came off very balancey

Quite pumpy Good climb

Got the tick Didn’t feel as smooth at the crux as my onsight attempt but still got the job done

This was a fight after a big day 2nding Sam and ash on there projs haha

The gear is actually pretty good some suss rock is places but the twin cracks provides good gear

Really hard Tough to get your left food in the right spots on the edge of the crack really want to dial in your sequence on this thin tough and technical

Been waiting a while to get back on this with all the crazy wet weather Went down fine today crack still seems a little damp and I still hate the upper fist size crack haha

What a mega classic climb So fun found this a lot easier then a taste of honey

WOW mega classic Cool finger jam moves to Captain cut loose hand traverse After the traverse I had so much drag was like climbing with a freight train on the rope Beta to extend the sling in the hole in the rock and the cam u get in the roof crack On the 2 hour belay watching my brother fall off the traverse into space and prussic up trying to remove the roof cam haha

Got my brother on his first trad lead then he decided to take the reins and lead the whole climb Money pitch is pitch 3 stepping over the void so lovely

Quick arvo lap test out the rock after the rains The descent harder then the climb In one pitch

I lead all pitches Was going to combined pitch 1 and 2 but silly error clipping my rope straight into a cam made to much drag. Ended up doing in 4 pitches Almost slipped off one of the layback moves on pitch 4 polished footers

We ended up taking a 4 and 6 cam

Cool climb Not use to these gymnastic moves at a trad crag One move wonder for jug haul above

1st time at araps and 1st ever route what a Mega classic !!! So committing jugs jugs jugs jugs Broke it into 2 pitches

It’s so polished Cool Left trending crack

Got abit if a sore hip and bridging didn’t help Will take a little rest after this week

Donno how I got this with out falling out was trying ever trick in the book to stay on

Really need to get my technique better on the offwidth

Pretty hard for a 16 great climb

Got the send yewww Had to really give it some for the .5 section Will be working more crack endurance this season

Adventure climbing I would suggest you top out and walk down tourist track or caves We rapped off and it’s a stitch up avoiding loose blocks jumping gully’s and trying to avoid stuck ropes in the gully’s terraces

A lot of classic run outs too Ash ripped a hold off pitch 4 and took a little whip the gear holds which is good purple totem for the win
